As educational information reform continues to deepen,information technology is changing people’s ways of learning.However,there is no positive feedback given in normalized mathematics teaching.which leads to a integration of information technology and mathematics disciplines.In the context of dual-reduction policy implementation,improving the quality of school education has received widespread scholarly attention.At the same time,in 2022,the newly issued math curriculum standards for mandatory education provide a definition of mathematical core literacy for the first time,which is coincident with the concept of deep learning.As a result,how to reduce students’ academic load while improving the quality of instruction to promote deep learning and achieve the cultivation of basic mathematical literacy has become an urgent issue to address.Based on this,this study focuses on three issues from the perspective of deep learning,using junior high school mathematics as a carrier,and centering on the core of "information technology promotes deep learning" : How to design an effective teaching model that uses information technology to promote middle school students’ mathematics deep learning? With a view to providing a new practical way to promote junior high school students’ deep mathematical learning.First,this study analyze the current research situation of deep learning and the teaching of mathematics in middle school,identify research questions,research methods,in addition to the relationship between deep learning and middle school mathematics education;a scale was used to evaluate the current situation of deep learning in mathematics in two classes of Grade 1 in a school in C City.This analysis demonstrated that deep learning level was significantly correlated with student achievement,and the difference in deep learning between the experimental and control classrooms was not statistically significant.However,the overall performance in critical thinking.From a deep learning perspective their problem solving,and cooperative inquiry dimensions was poor.Secondly to promote the level of deep learning,based on the training goals of middle school mathematics education The theory of deep learning,through the process of productive learning,the cognitive process of deep learning,and the learning journey,a model of information technology instruction is constructed to promote middle school students’ deep mathematical learning,including the design of computational programs using Python,Geogebra simulation of coin flips.The model is divided into five parts,which closely integrate the preparation stage,the active construction and deep processing stage,and the assessment and consolidation stage after the class to form an organic whole.It is designed to enhance students’ transfer and problem-solving skills as well as cooperative inquiry.Then,applying this model in the middle school first-year mathematics classroom took three action research cycles of 4 months.After the first round of action research,it was found that students’ sense of cooperation was weak,and the allocation of group members was adjusted to address this problem;after the second round of action research,it was found that the evaluation was not comprehensive and other problems existed,and then specific evaluation criteria were used to evaluate;after the third round of action research,through learning achievement analysis,comparison of interview data between teachers and students,and hierarchical division of understanding levels.The results showed that the students’ deep learning level after using this model was higher than before using it,and their scores were improved.In response to the above three questions,from this study,the following conclusions can be drawn: The overall level of deep learning in mathematics among middle school students is not high;The teaching model should bring into play the effectiveness of information technology and combine the characteristics of mathematics to promote in-depth learning;The instructional model of using information technology to promote deep learning in mathematics for middle school students has a positive impact on effectively improving students’ level of deep learning,academic performance,cognitive level,and emotional level of cooperative communication.
