The Implication Of CAI Yuanpei’s Aesthetic Education Thought And Its Enlightenment To Current College Aesthetic Education Practice

Aesthetic education is an important part of all-round development education.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the CPC Central Committee and the state have attached more importance to the development of aesthetic education in schools.As an advocate of modern aesthetic education,CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought is both Chinese and Western.It not only criticizes and inherits the traditional Chinese aesthetic education thought,but also draws on the aesthetic propositions of western thinkers,which greatly promotes the development of modern aesthetic education cause.Using CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought for reference can provide useful enlightenment for the current aesthetic education work in Chinese universities.CAI Yuanpei devoted his whole life to the cause of education,especially the cause of aesthetic education.His aesthetic education thought has important modern value.The paper uses literature research method and survey research method.On the one hand,through collecting and sorting out Mr.CAI Yuanpei’s works and articles on aesthetic education,this paper sorts out and summarizes the main connotation of CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought.On the other hand,on the basis of investigation and research,the problems existing in the practice of aesthetic education in universities are drawn,and combined with CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought,some feasible suggestions are provided for the aesthetic education in Chinese universities.Firstly,this paper analyzes the formation basis and development course of CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought through literature research.This part explores the foundation of CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought from three aspects: the social environment at that time,the Chinese and Western culture and CAI Yuanpei’s own noble personality spirit.The development process of CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought is divided into three stages: germination,formation and maturity.Secondly,it excavates the connotation of CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought.It is concluded that the goal of aesthetic education is to enhance people’s aesthetic quality and cultivate people’s noble personality.Aesthetic education contains many contents,and has deep connection with religion,science education and all-round development education.Aesthetic education is mainly implemented by setting up aesthetic courses,establishing various aesthetic education associations,paying attention to the construction of aesthetic education environment and other ways,and follows the principle of teaching in pleasure,imperceptivism and gradual progress.Through the exploration of the connotation of CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought,it is concluded that CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought has the characteristics of popularization,life and life.After reflecting on the present situation,it is found through investigation that there are still many problems in the practice of aesthetic education in Chinese universities,including fuzzy aesthetic education objectives,unsound aesthetic education curriculum system,lack of teachers’ aesthetic education ability,mere formality of aesthetic education practice activities,lack of aesthetic education environment construction and so on.CAI Yuanpei’s aesthetic education thought has important enlightenment to the current practice of aesthetic education in Chinese universities.This tells us that we should scientifically locate the goal of aesthetic education,strengthen the construction of aesthetic education curriculum,at the same time improve teachers’ aesthetic education quality,carry out reasonable aesthetic education practice activities,and create a good aesthetic education atmosphere.
