With the development of digital technology and the promotion of a new round of basic education curriculum reform,the traditional classroom teaching model can no longer fully adapt to the needs of modern teaching development,the integration of digital technology into the traditional classroom has become an important direction of teaching reform,and the blended teaching mode model combining online online learning and offline classroom teaching has received widespread attention from educators.In order to improve the teaching quality of high school ideology and politics classes,it is urgent to study the blended teaching model in depth and further explore the effective implementation strategies of this model in high school ideology and politics classes.This thesis is based on the theme of "Research on the application of the blended teaching mode in high school ideology and politics class".The presentation is based on a step-by-step approach of "Exposition of relevant concepts-Problem formulation-Problem analysis-Problem solving".The thesis takes the students of a high school in Chengdu in the first and second years of senior high school in the online arts class and their political science teachers as the subjects of investigation.It investigates the achievements and problems of blended teaching in high school ideology and politics classes in the school,analyses the causes of the problems and proposes basic strategies for optimising teaching.This study contains four parts in addition to an introductory chapter.Chapter 1 Introduction.This part mainly introduces the background of this study’s topic selection,research implications and current status of domestic and international research,and gives a brief overview of the research content and methods,innovations and shortcomings.Chapter 2 Overview of relevant theories.This part mainly compares the emergence and development of the blended teaching mode,and discusses its related concepts,characteristics,the necessity and feasibility of carrying out the blended teaching mode in high school ideology and politics classes and its theoretical basis.Chapter 3 illustrates the current situation of blended teaching in high school ideology and politics classes.The author investigates the current situation of blended teaching in high school ideology and politics classes in a middle school in Chengdu through a combination of questionnaires and interviews,and finds that in the practice of blended teaching in high school ideology and politics classes in this school,students’ interest in political learning has been enhanced to a certain extent,the blended teaching ability of political science teachers has been partially improved,and the overall learning efficiency has been greatly enhanced.However,there are still problems such as low participation of some students in the classroom,poor overall competence of the high school ideology and politics teachers in blended teaching and insufficient support and guarantee for the development of blended teaching.Chapter 4 provides an in-depth analysis of the causes of the problems of blended teaching in high school ideology and politics classes and discusses them.The author further analyses the reasons for the problems of blended teaching in senior high school ideology and politics classes,including the lack of students’ awareness of the subject,the lack of teachers’ blended teaching skills and the lack of support and cooperation from the "home-school community".Chapter 5 proposes strategies for optimising blended teaching in high school ideology and politics classes.The author mainly proposes optimisation strategies from strengthening the main position of students,enhancing the blended teaching ability of senior secondary school teachers and strengthening the cooperation between home,school and society,in order to improve the quality of blended teaching and build a highly effective senior secondary school ideology and politics classroom.In conclusion,the use of blended teaching mode in senior high school Civics and Political Science classes follows the development trend of the digital era and improves the teaching quality of senior high school ideology and politics teacher.However,there is no perfect classroom in the world,nor is there a flawless teaching model.To some extent,the development and use of blended teaching models is a breakthrough and innovation in traditional teaching,but there are also some problems with its use in high school ideology and politics classes.The road to blended teaching reform is long and difficult,and it still requires the joint efforts of all educators.
