| Since the "Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Senior High School(2017 Edition,2020 revision)" proposed to further improve teachers’ understanding of chemistry subject, which is conducive to the classroom teaching based on the development of students’ chemistry subject literacy, more and more scholars and teachers have paid attention to the relevant research on teachers’ understanding of chemistry subject. The understanding of chemistry subject is the same as the teaching activity, both the teacher and the student are the subject. The ultimate purpose of the discussion of teachers’ understanding of the subject is to enhance students’ understanding of the subject and develop students’ core quality of chemistry. For students,Students’ chemical subject understanding is the basis for developing their core quality of chemical subject.Students’ understanding of the subject helps to shift the focus of teaching from how teachers teach to how students learn, and makes the teaching objectives more consistent with the core quality objectives of chemistry.Project-based learning is a student-centered teaching model that develops students’ comprehensive ability by solving real problems.Project-based learning is closely related to subject core accomplishment and subject understanding. Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to study project-based teaching which is conducive to improving subject understanding.First of all,the author searched and sorted out relevant literature on subject understanding, analyzed the research status at home and abroad, and systematically summarized the research progress and existing problems of subject understanding.Secondly, this paper defines the understanding of chemistry based on the theory of multiple intelligences, cognitive structure learning theory and UBD theory, and then defines the concept of project-based learning to enhance understanding of chemistry in combination with the connotation and characteristics of project-based learing, providing theoretical support for the research of this subject. Then with the help of previous studies, analyzes and constructs the evaluation index of students’ subject understanding of chemistry, and puts forward the main characteristics of project-based teaching for enhancement of subject understanding.Based on this, this thesis proposes design strategies for project-based teaching to improve understanding of chemistry: The selection of project themes is centered around the concept of the discipline;Subject concept-centered project themes facilitate knowledge structuring; The project aims to understand the subject and cultivate the core quality of the subject; The project problem highlights the discipline thinking and forms the discipline concept; The project environment is an external force for improving understanding of chemistry;Project tasks align with project objectives, facilitating understanding and migration;Project evaluation feedbacks the current situation of students’ understanding of chemistry and promotes the dynamic development of students’ understanding level. On the basis of the above theoretical research, this paper analyzes the subject understanding content of galvanic battery and investigates the current situation of students’ understanding of galvanic battery subject. Two project-type teaching cases are designed to enhance the subject understanding, namely "Exploring the secret of the water-powered toy Car" and "exploring the Secret of Warm Paste",and conducts teaching practice research. The research of teaching practice shows that the project teaching strategy is effective.Through relevant theoretical research and teaching practice research, this paper draws the following conclusions:⑴ It is reliable to establish the evaluation index of students’ subject understanding based on the relationship between teachers’ subject understanding and students’ subject understanding;⑵ It is feasible to guide the teaching idea of project-based teaching with the relevant connotation of subject understanding;⑶The project-based teaching strategy proposed in this paper is effective to some extent. |
