Project-based learning can integrate practical problems in life and subject core knowledge,and it is a teaching mode in which students discover,integrate and develop subject knowledge and cultivate students’ subject core literacy under the guidance of teachers in class,which has important practical value in chemistry teaching in high school.Guided by constructivism learning theory,Bruner’s learning discovery theory and STEM education concept,this paper defines the relevant concepts of project-based learning on the basis of reviewing relevant literatures about project-based learning at home and abroad.The main elements and general process of project-based learning teaching mode are analyzed.Based on the understanding of project-based learning,this paper analyzes and summarizes the current situation of the application of project-based learning teaching mode by teachers interview and questionnaire survey.In view of the problems existing in the implementation process of project-based learning teaching mode in high school chemistry,this paper puts forward relevant strategies from three aspects of resource development,project implementation and project evaluation.The proposed strategies are applied to the design and implementation of specific project-based learning teaching cases.Design and implementation of projective-type learning cases were carried out by selecting three themes from the high school chemistry knowledge module "Common Inorganic Matter" : "Experimental Exploration of the reaction products of Sodium and water","Exploration of the valence of Iron element in Iron Supplement" and "The work and error of sulfur dioxide".The three thematic projects all start from six aspects: project content analysis,project teaching and evaluation objectives,project process display,project implementation content,project effect evaluation,project teaching reflection and suggestions,and present the design,implementation and evaluation process of project-based learning cases.Case after implementation,by student interviews and to evaluate the effect of project implementation,the results show that the project learning teaching model in the form of teacher guidance,students take the initiative to explore subject practice,and is helpful to arouse the learning enthusiasm of students,promote the students deep learning,cultivate students ability to solve practical problems and the improvement of chemical subject core literacy.Innovation:1.Analyze the research situation of project-based learning at home and abroad,and summarize the development and implementation strategies of project-based learning cases;2.Three project-based learning teaching cases developed the content of "common inorganic matter" in high school chemistry knowledge module;3.Survey their attitudes towards project-based learning teaching mode from the perspectives of teachers and students,so as to reflect a more comprehensive evaluation of the project-based learning teaching mode in the implementation of high school chemistry teaching.
