| With the development of curriculum reform,problem solving ability,as one of the key abilities of mathematics,has become an important training goal of senior high school education.The curriculum standards emphasize the importance of situational problem solving.Students’ ability to solve mathematical problems involving situations is investigated and cultivated gradually.Due to the impact of the epidemic in the past three years,students’ learning style has changed to some extent,which is bound to have an impact on students’ ability to solve mathematical problems.Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the current situation and influencing factors of high school students’ mathematical problem solving ability.The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation and influencing factors of students’ mathematical problem solving ability including situation in senior high school through investigation method and data analysis method.Based on the investigation results,the literature research method is adopted to propose targeted strategies and teaching cases.Based on the above work,the following conclusions can be drawn: Firstly,in terms of current situation:(1)In terms of ability level,senior one students’ ability to solve mathematical problems including the situation has reached the passing level on the whole.In terms of ability level,students only have difficulty in solving mathematical problems at the level of knowledge transfer;(2)In terms of situational elements,the mathematical problem solving ability of all situational types reached a passing level;The ability to solve situational mathematical problems in literal presentation shall reach a passing level.The ability to solve situational mathematical problems without disturbing information reached the passing level;(3)In terms of situational awareness,senior One students’ grasp of situational information needs to be improved;It is difficult to interpret the problems involving situational mathematics.In the setting of the situation,the presence or absence of figures and the quantity of conditions will affect the problem solving process of students.(4)In terms of gender difference,there was no significant difference between genders in the overall ability,all dimensions of ability and different situational elements of mathematical problem solving ability.Secondly,in terms of influencing factors:(1)the main influencing factor of situation type dimension is personal life situation;(2)The main influencing factors of the dimension of context presentation are the way of text presentation;(3)The main influencing factor of the dimension of contextual interference is the situation with interference information;(4)The degree of situational awareness positively affects the mathematical problem solving ability involving situational awareness.According to the research results and characteristics of students,the cultivation strategies are put forward:(1)Based on the analysis of situational elements,to create rich and diverse situations;(2)In order to improve the ability of knowledge transfer,students’ basic mathematical skills should be cultivated;(3)Enhance students’ understanding of situation by increasing situational experience;(4)Master problem solving methods by carefully designing situational homework.Based on the training strategy and theoretical basis,the teaching case design of new teaching,activity class,and exercise class is developed: "Mathematics Situational teaching class--Taking Function Monotonicity as an example","Mathematics Problem Solving Thematic Activity Class" and "Situational Homework Assignment and Feedback Class". |
