Complaint behavior is a frequent behavior in kindergarten.It is the behavior of children who think they have been wronged in the kindergarten,or find that other children’s behavior violates the kindergarten’s collective norms and some requirements of the teacher,and take the initiative to tell the teacher the situation.The main purpose of children’s complaint is to use the authority of the teacher,to stop the behavior of peers,to meet their own needs.At present,the peer complaint behavior is mainly observed and analyzed from an adult-oriented perspective in China.In contrast,the research on infant complaint behavior based on the perspective of children is not enough.Therefore,it is still valuable to study the complaint behavior from the perspective of children.From the perspective of children,in-depth understanding of children’s world can help us understand children’s cognition of complaints,the reasons for children’s complaints and children’s psychological feelings during complaints,so as to better understand children’s complaints,and put forward relevant suggestions based on children’s perspective.In this study,44 senior class children in Chongqing S Kindergarten were selected as the research objects.Interviews,video discussion,literature and observation were adopted to investigate children’s basic understanding of the connotation of complaint,to understand the reasons for children’s complaint behavior and children’s feelings towards complaint.Through the qualitative analysis software Nvivo12 Plus,more than 20,000 words of infant interview data collected were coded,sorted and analyzed to explore the causes of children’s complaint behavior,and put forward effective strategies suitable for5-6 years old children’s complaint behavior.The survey results show that children’s basic understanding of complaint mainly has three aspects: first,"complaint is bad performance";Second,"to complain is to tell the teacher";Third,"Complaints just make people unhappy." The characteristics of children’s complaint behavior mainly include the following aspects: free activities of children’s complaint behavior is more frequent,maintenance rules is the main reason for children’s complaint behavior,the incidence of children’s complaint behavior is related to the teacher’s feedback way,children’s complaint strategy transition from simple to complicated.Through the analysis of the interview data,the main reasons for children to complain are bullying,violation of rules,justice assistance.There are individual differences in children’s feelings towards complaints.As the "plaintiff",children’s feelings mainly include unhappy,angry,happy and calm.As the "defendant",I mainly felt unhappy,angry,afraid and did not feel.Other people’s feelings when being accused mainly include unhappy,angry,happy,and no feeling.This study analyzes the causes of children’s complaints from six aspects: children’s defensive instinct,the driving of sense of responsibility,children’s psychological need for appreciation and recognition,children’s obedience to teachers’ authority,parents’ encouragement of children’s complaints,and "standardized" class management.On this basis,this study takes children as the main body,from the point of view of children,puts forward the following suggestions: first,understand children’s sense of complaint;Second,make class rules together;Third,establish the awareness of cooperation and sharing;Fourth,cultivate the ability of independence. |
