| Based on the enhancement of classroom management requirements of the new curriculum reform and the special characteristics of the senior elementary school students group,it is necessary to conduct an in-depth analysis of the characteristics and causes of the problem behaviors of senior elementary school students in the classroom,and propose effective strategies for reducing the problem behaviors of senior elementary school students in order to improve the quality and efficiency of classroom teaching,given the prevalence of problem behaviors in the classroom of senior elementary school students.In this study,the current situation of senior elementary students’ problem behaviors in the classroom was studied by using a combination of literature research,observation,questionnaire and interview methods in Q town central elementary school in Y city.The study showed that the classroom problem behaviors of upper elementary school students were characterized by universality,diverse causative factors,concentration,gender differences,and mildness.The causes of problem behaviors in upper elementary students’ classrooms are complex and are the result of the combined influence of teachers,students,and the environment.At the teacher level,they are manifested as backward educational philosophy,poor classroom management ability,and single teaching method;at the student level,they are manifested as differences in cognitive development level,weak self-control ability,and susceptibility to negative psychological influence;at the environment level,they are manifested as family environment influence,school environment influence,and social environment influence.Finally,combining humanistic education theory,behavior correction theory and positive psychology theory,and following the law of physical and mental development of senior pupils,the intervention strategies of senior pupils’ classroom problem behaviors are proposed from the perspective of teachers,students and environment.At the level of teachers,we should renew our educational concept and insist on student-centered education.Improve classroom management ability,prevent and correct problem behavior in time;Adopt flexible and diversified teaching methods to arouse students’ enthusiasm for learning.At the student level,students’ unreasonable cognition should be changed to enhance their self-confidence and sense of achievement.Improve students’ self-control ability and cultivate good study habits;Strengthen students’ mental health education,enhance their interest and enthusiasm in learning.At the environmental level,we should strengthen home-school coeducation and create a good family atmosphere.Optimize the classroom environment and provide suitable learning places;Improve the supervision system,care for the healthy growth of students.It is hoped that the author’s study can provide support for teachers in Q Town Central Primary School in Y to strengthen the management of problem behaviors of upper elementary school students and improve the effectiveness of teaching,as well as provide reference for other front-line educators to deal with problem behaviors in the classroom. |
