| Primary school classroom problem behavior refers to those behaviorsthat are inconsistent with the classroom rules and teaching requirements andaffect the normal order of the classroom teaching and efficiency. Thosebehaviors will not only undermine the teachers’ normal teaching activities, butalso hinder the other students’ normal study and the students themselves whodoing that. For the educators, it is always a big trouble. As the new curriculumreform has entered a crucial stage, an important way to improve the efficiency ofclassroom teaching is to improve the teachers’ understanding of classroomproblem behavior and processing capabilities to those behaviors. Now littleattention has been paid to the primary students’ classroom behavior, or to thetype, the impact factors and coping strategies of those behaviors, empiricalresearch are much less.Based on the present situation, this research includes the following threequestions.First of all, on the basis of previous studies, the primary school classroomproblem behaviors are collated, defined and summarized, the hazards of thosebehaviors have also been listed. Second, the status of those problem behaviors have been investigated and the reasons are analysed. Throughthe survey we’ve found that those problems are common issues, and the typesare concentrated; different teachers have different evaluations for students’performance and themselves in class; students’ classroom behaviors are affectedby many factors; teachers need to strengthen communication with the studentsand their parents; more kinds of methods should be used to deal with theproblems.Finally, the improvement strategies have been put forward. We believethat the response to primary school classroom behavior should be based onprevention, control is supplemented. |
