It is the information age,the topic of leadership has been widely concerned by the society.Individuals need leadership both in the workplace and at home.In the field of education,head teachers of secondary vocational schools have to teach and educate students and ensure their employment,and keep the school’s reputation to accomplish their task of students recruitment.At the same time,they also have to balance family and work.Leadership is needed.Paying attention to the construction of the leadership of secondary vocational head teachers can not only improve themselves,but also promote the operation of management to better school itself.In the study,the Zhanjiang X Secondary School where the place I work was taken as the research site.According to Yang Sizhuo’s Six Dimensions of Leadership Theory,I took a long-time observation to make the questionnaire and interview for the leadership of head teachers.With the help of SPSSAU to export data.The existing problems of the class teachers’ leadership are found as follows: creativity is not enough in learning ability;less methods can be considered in teaching force;teachers need to look further in determination;the effect of execution is not ideal;connection with people is not closed enough in organization;teachers’ charisma needs to be improved.There are external reasons and personal reasons for the existing problems.The external reasons include: the leaders of school do not realize the importance of the construction of leadership system,teachers lack of effective professional training,and the management scope of teachers is too much and messy.The personal reasons are as follows: the head teachers are not fully aware of leadership,their self-requirement is not strong enough,they feel hard to do action,lack of optimal use of time effectiveness,lack of systematic reflection,weak in interpersonal communication skills,and tired of bearing family responsibilities.In view of the problems presented in the study,the strategies to improve the leadership of secondary vocational head teachers are proposed from the school level and individual level.School need to establish a leadership training system,improve the timely feedback system,and ensure development of atmosphere of leadership for the head teachers.I think the promotion of leadership strategies mainly lies in the thinking of the individual.Firstly,head teachers need to aware of the importance of leadership and enhance it,then they need to improve the learning ability to motivate force of improvement,enhance the teaching ability to educate students better,improve the determination to maintain forwardlooking,strengthen execution to work efficiently,attach importance to organization to improve communication skills,strengthen the charisma to improve the charm of personality.
