| Research objective: Lack of physical activity will lead to the decline of physical function. This paper takes college students with different levels of physical activity as the research object and different walking speeds as the research means to study the gait characteristics and gait stability of college students with different levels of physical activity under the condition of out-of-sync speed; To explore the effect of physical activity on gait quality in youth and its potential effect on old age.Research Methods: The Zebris FDM-TR70 gait analysis system was used to collect the gait parameters and plantar pressure center parameters of 16 college students at different physical activity levels in groups of low, middle and high three respectively under the conditions of slow, normal and fast walking speeds.Through analyzing the data, the gait characteristics in the walking process were obtained. The stability of the walking process was analyzed by using the parameters of the plantar pressure center, and the gait characteristics and stability of college students with different physical activity levels under the condition of outof-sync speed were explored. Results: Physical activity level had statistical significance on step frequency(P<0.05),and walking speed had statistical significance on single step time, stride time and step frequency(P < 0.05).Physical activity level had statistical significance on the difference of foot deflection Angle and stride length(P<0.05).Fast walking reduced the left foot deflection Angle by 2.15° and 1.08°,and the right foot deflection Angle by 2.03° and 1.07°,respectively,in the moderate physical activity level group. The differences of walking speed on foot deflection Angle, stride length, stride length and stride width were statistically significant(P<0.05),the differences of physical activity level on swing phase and double support phase were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the differences of bearing response period, single support phase and early swing phase were statistically significant between high and low physical activity level groups(P<0.05).There were significant differences in walking speed in swing phase, support phase, double support phase, loadbearing response period, single support phase and early swing phase(P<0.05).Physical activity level had statistical significance on gait line, the variation of plantar pressure center and the symmetry of plantar pressure center(P < 0.05).The gait speed had statistical significance on the variation of gait line, single support line and plantar pressure center before and after(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)With the acceleration of walking speed, college students at different physical activity levels showed the characteristics of shortening stride time, increasing stride length, increasing stride frequency, decreasing foot deviation Angle, lengthening swing phase, shortening double support phase, shortening support phase and length of gait line.(2)Gait characteristics of college students with different levels of physical activity are different.College students with low physical activity level showed the characteristics of short stride length, high stride frequency, large foot deflection Angle, shortened swing phase, prolonged double support phase and short gait line. The students of medium physical activity level showed the characteristics of short stride, high stride frequency, large foot Angle and short gait line. The students with high physical activity level showed the characteristics of long stride length, low stride frequency, small foot deflection Angle, shortened double support phase, prolonged swing phase and long gait line. The gait of college students with moderate physical activity level and college students with low physical activity level tended to be "outside eight" under the three walking speeds, and the gait was the most serious when walking at slow speed.(3)The gait stability of college students with the same physical activity level was lower than that of slow walking. The gait stability of students with low physical activity level was lower than that of students with high physical activity level. |
