The 2021 Edition of Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards points out that teachers and students should actively participate in teaching activities,the essence of which is a process in which teachers and students realize common development through communication.In teaching activities,the classroom should put students in the main position.The role of teachers is to organize students to study,in the process of learning to give students appropriate guidance.Effective teaching activities are carried out jointly by teachers and students.In effective teaching activities,students have a personalized learning environment.With the guidance of teachers,students can develop the good habit of thinking seriously in class,explore knowledge independently,and communicate with other students.The New Curriculum Standard points out that students should have a good learning style,and it is very important to cultivate students’ independent thinking and practical ability.This paper proposes to adopt 5E teaching mode for cultivating junior high school students’ autonomous ability in mathematics.5E teaching mode can help students build their own knowledge system independently.This method is obviously superior to traditional teaching mode,and students can not only learn rigid knowledge,but also flexibly apply knowledge.This teaching mode pays more attention to the cultivation of students’ self-exploration ability,knowledge construction ability and cooperation and communication ability,which can effectively improve the teaching effect of junior middle school mathematics classroom.The use of 5E teaching model can not only improve students’ autonomous learning ability,but also make classroom teaching more effective.Junior high school students can’t learn mathematics well without independent learning ability,so independent learning ability occupies an important position.According to the latest curriculum standards,the ability to study independently helps students learn the "figure and geometry" section.Therefore,this paper determines the idea of 5E teaching mode as the research background,uses the literature research method to sort out the basic knowledge of 5E teaching mode and independent learning ability,and adopts the method of questionnaire to investigate and analyze the status quo of junior high school students’ independent learning of mathematics.The experimental and testing methods are used to compare the classes that adopt 5E teaching mode and those that do not,and the results are analyzed and tested to judge whether 5E teaching mode can cultivate the autonomous learning ability of junior middle school students in learning mathematics.This paper will also analyze the feasibility of the 5E teaching model and its compatibility with the cultivation of junior middle school students’ autonomous learning ability by combining the cultivation goal of junior middle school students’ autonomous learning ability and the requirement of the new curriculum standard on the "figure and geometry" part of junior middle school students’ mathematics.This paper will also put forward better strategies for future teaching activities based on the advantages and feasibility of the martial arts teaching mode for the cultivation of students’ learning ability.Through data analysis,the paper draws four conclusions: First,it is feasible to adopt 5E teaching model in terms of cultivating junior high school students’ autonomous learning ability in mathematics.Secondly,the 5E teaching mode is adopted in the "Figure and geometry" part of mathematics in junior middle school to make students more interested in independent learning,so that students will be more focused in class and more willing to participate in class activities.Thirdly,5E teaching mode improves students’ autonomous learning ability in an all-round way.Fourthly,5E teaching model helps junior middle school mathematics teachers improve teaching quality.In addition,this paper also carries out teaching design,in order to observe whether students’ autonomous ability is improved after using 5E teaching mode to improve teaching activities.
