In recent years,the importance and urgency of safeguarding national security have become increasingly prominent.With the introduction of a series of regulations such as the National Security Law of the People’s Republic of China(hereinafter referred to as the New Security Law),the Implementation Opinions on Strengthening National Security Education in Universities,Middle Schools,and Primary Schools(hereinafter referred to as the Implementation Opinions),and the Guidelines for National Security Education in Universities,Middle Schools,and Primary Schools(hereinafter referred to as the Guidelines),All colleges and universities have also realized that strengthening the cultivation of college students’ national security awareness is not only the foundation for cultivating moral integrity and cultivating people,but also the key to promoting the in-depth development of national security education for the entire population.It has also played a positive role in enhancing the national security awareness of the entire population in this process,thereby promoting the construction and development of national security,and has become an important component of the ideological and political education system in colleges and universities.In ideological and political theory courses and daily education,we should integrate the overall national security concept throughout,and strengthen it in various forms and levels.By cultivating the national security awareness of young college students,they can better prevent and respond to various risks,resist erroneous ideas,and make greater contributions to social development.In today’s society,combining the overall national security concept with ideological and political education for college students not only has important theoretical significance,but also provides an effective way to improve the comprehensive quality of college students.Through comprehensive application of theoretical research,literature research,and empirical analysis,this article explores how to integrate the overall national security perspective into college students’ ideological and political education in order to achieve better results.The full text is mainly discussed from four parts:Part Ⅰ:Introduction.This article provides a general introduction to the research background and significance of the basic issue of integrating the overall national security concept into ideological and political education for college students,as well as the research situation of relevant issues at home and abroad,as well as the research methods,ideas,difficulties,innovation points,and other basic issues adopted.Part Ⅱ:Definition of relevant concepts and theoretical overview.Taking the overall national security concept as the core,this paper discusses its theoretical roots,main connotations,main contents,and main characteristics,and expounds the necessity and importance of integrating it into college students’ ideological and political education.Part Ⅲ:Empirical investigation and analysis.Through surveys and interviews on college students’ educational backgrounds,thinking patterns,and related questionnaires,this study explores the substantive challenges in the current integration process,and explores the causes of these challenges from the root causes.Part Ⅳ:Adhere to the guidance of problem awareness and explore specific implementation strategies for integrating the overall national security concept into ideological and political education for college students,in order to enhance its effectiveness.
