The STEAM education concept belongs to a new interdisciplinary integrated education model.STEAM is a combination of the initials of Science,Technology,Engineering,Arts,and Mathematics,representing education in science,technology,engineering,art,and mathematics,respectively.The STEAM education concept emphasizes the use of multidisciplinary knowledge in comprehensive teaching,stimulating students’ curiosity,cultivating students’ interdisciplinary innovative thinking and sustained interest in learning,and cultivating comprehensive talents for all-round development.This topic is aimed at how to apply the STEAM education concept to the learning field of "appreciation and review" of fine arts in junior high schools.The topic is divided into three main parts.The first part analyzes the application status of the STEAM education concept in the curriculum of "appreciation and review" of fine arts in junior high schools;The second part mainly elaborates the significance and value of applying STEAM education concept to junior high school art education,and analyzes the application path of STEAM education concept and junior high school art "appreciation review" learning field;The third part is mainly under the guidance of STEAM education philosophy,combining curriculum teaching in the field of "appreciation and review" with subject knowledge such as mathematics,Chinese,and music,designing a detailed teaching plan,and conducting practice in classroom teaching to verify the results and effectiveness of the application of STEAM education philosophy in elementary and secondary art teaching.
