With the rapid development of the economy,the advent of artificial intelligence and the needs of social development,the cultivation of comprehensive talents cannot be ignored.2022’s latest revision of the Art Curriculum Standards clearly states that the link between art subjects and other subjects should be emphasized to give full play to the function of collaborative education.The aim of this paper is to explore the content of teaching the "design-application" learning area in junior high school art by combining collage with the STEAM concept,with a view to achieving the core literacy requirements in art teaching in this way.The core concept of STEAM education is to cultivate students’ creativity and critical thinking so as to enhance their overall quality;the "design-application" area is in line with the new requirements for talent training in the development of the times,guiding students to think out of the box to solve problems in art learning,forming aesthetic creativity and comprehensive practical skills;collage As a means of art creation,students can develop their creative thinking skills.Based on the concept of STEAM education,the author explores the design and practice of collage teaching in the area of ’design-application’ in junior art,with a view to developing students’ comprehensive skills,enhancing their perception of life,developing their creative thinking skills,and deepening their awareness of and sense of identity with the art subject.Firstly,the author analyses the STEAM education concept and collage teaching at home and abroad,and explains the concept of STEAM education and collage,as well as the theoretical basis of the application of collage in the "design-application" learning area of junior art under the STEAM concept,in order to provide theoretical support for the curriculum and to better This is to provide theoretical support for the curriculum so that it can be better implemented.Secondly,the author analyses the feasibility of combining STEAM education concepts with collage teaching in the curriculum requirements and art teaching materials;conducts a questionnaire survey on teachers’ practice of interdisciplinary integration teaching and collage teaching in Guangdong,as well as the perceptions of seventh grade students in Shenzhen S School on interdisciplinary integration teaching and collage teaching to understand the current practice of interdisciplinary integration teaching and collage teaching.The questionnaire survey was conducted to understand the current practice of interdisciplinary integration teaching and collage teaching;to propose corresponding application strategies for teaching design and implementation.Finally,the author has designed and implemented two lessons in the "Design-Application" area of the Lingnan edition of the junior high school art textbook to integrate interdisciplinary knowledge in the teaching of collage and to reflect on and summarise the research findings through teaching practice. |
