| Integrity education is a type of education that is highly valued in China and around the world,as corruption is a problem that cannot be underestimated.The ways and means of dealing with corruption vary from region to region and are similar in their own ways.The difference is in the content and methods,but the similarity is in the aim of fighting corruption and promoting integrity.With the development of society and the times,the problem of corruption in society has begun to become more and more complex,and the phenomenon of corruption at a younger age has begun to emerge,so the target audience for integrity education has become more and more widespread.In 2005,the Ministry of Education issued the "Opinions on the Pilot Work of Integrity Education in Schools and Universities",which for the first time systematically included integrity education as an important part of ideological and political education in the daily study of schools and universities,and launched integrity education in schools and universities within the scope of three provinces and six cities in China.In 2007,the Ministry of Education issued the "Opinions on the Comprehensive Development of Integrity Education in Schools and Universities",and thus China began to develop integrity education in schools and universities across the country,and integrity education began a new journey of development.As a highly malleable and dynamic group,university students are at a critical stage in their physical and mental development.Integrity education for university students plays a "precautionary" role in preventing corruption.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.Full and strict governance over the Party has become an important part of the four strategic layout,and in the context of the new era China has always adhered to the fight against corruption while also focusing on the continuous deepening and development of corruption prevention.Students in the new era have the great historical responsibility of being the preparatory army for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and it is of great importance to establish a correct concept of integrity before they leave campus and enter society.In this regard,this study uses a combination of documentary,historical,comparative and empirical research methods to examine the following aspects of integrity education for university students in the new era.Firstly,clarify the basic concepts.The concepts of "integrity","integrity education","integrity education for university students" and "integrity education for university students in the new era The concept of "integrity" is profoundly analysed.Grasp the theoretical basis for developing integrity education in the new era.Secondly,combing through the history and learning from experience.By combing through the historical evolution of integrity education for university students since the founding of New China,we will summarise our experiences and achievements.At the same time,we are studying the development of integrity education for university students in overseas countries and Chinese Hong Kong region,in order to learn from their experiences and to draw on them in a dialectical way to promote the development of integrity education for university students in the new era.Thirdly,the current situation was analysed.The research method of questionnaires and in-depth interviews was used to examine the current situation of integrity education for university students in the new era.The results of the research show that the new era of integrity education for university students has been more effective,as evidenced by the higher recognition of integrity education among university students and the effective enhancement of their awareness of integrity.At the same time,however,the results of the research also show that the integrity education of students is not effective,the methods are not innovative enough and the synergy between all parties is not smooth.The reasons for the problems are the lack of unity between knowledge and action in integrity education,the weak integration of integrity education and digital media technology,and the fact that the effective synergy of all parties in integrity education for students has not yet been fully formed.Finally,we propose countermeasures.In other words,through the four levels of "self,family,school and society",we will put forward targeted advice on how to better develop integrity education for university students in the new era. |
