| The family linked by patrilineal blood is an objective social entity in traditional China,which runs through the entire history of Chinese civilization.As a kind of social phenomenon,the family has changed with social changes.It was not until the reform and opening up that family organizations regained their strength,and family activities such as continuation of genealogy and construction of ancestral halls appeared.The purpose of this research is to explore the action logic of the patriarch as the leader in family activities,so as to provide a certain reference for exerting his family power to participate in rural social governance,and then realizing rural revitalization.Therefore,this article takes the family tree continuation activity of the Zhang family in L Village,Shandong Province as a case,and uses interviews and observations as the data analysis method.The leader of the genealogy activity-the type adopted by the patriarch in the phased activities of the family tree continuation Using Bourdieu’s field as a theoretical perspective,analyze the position,habit and capital of the patriarch as the subject of action in the rural field,explore the reasons for the success of the leader’s action strategy,and explore the actions within the family organization logic.It turns out that in the process of continuation of the family tree,the patriarch used the following three main action strategies as the leader: The first is "the temptation of prestige." Prestige is the most important resource of a family organization.In order to awaken the enthusiasm of the majority of family members,the patriarchs adopted specific strategies of "Leaving Names on the Tablet","Genealogy",and "Female Genealogy" as specific strategies to attract family elites,ordinary family male members,and female family members to participate.The second is "stretching relations." Different types of family elites can provide the necessary economic,cultural,political and other resources for the music-repair activities.Based on the special trust relationship with blood as the core,the patriarch uses the way of human interaction to obtain the support of the family elite to draw them to participate.The third is "seeking a way out".In response to various problems encountered in the process of compiling the score,the patriarch adopted the action strategies of "collecting the wisdom of the clan","running and grinding",and "gathering people’s hearts" to establish a family We Chat group and carry out The ritual activities of ancestor worship are the specific content.On the one hand,it can obtain the required information.On the other hand,it can also condense the members’ family concept,improve family identity,construct family morals and ethics,and maintain social order.Analyzing the action strategy of the patriarch in the field of cloth villages,and digging out the action logic of the successful strategy,we found the following three points: First,the patriarch occupies the core position in the field and possesses symbolic capital,social capital and certain cultural capital.Secondly,culture is a habit.There are two main cultures in the rural field: one is the traditional family culture in the form of family concept and filial piety culture with the symbol of surname;the other is the modern culture of democratization and equality between men and women,which always influence the strategy choice of the patriarch.Finally,the action strategy of the family tree continuation activity from the perspective of capital is essentially a process of capital reproduction,in which the purpose of action is to realize the production of symbolic capital-gaining prestige;from the perspective of action,it is based on social capital Accumulation and reproduction.Therefore,based on the above action logic,a series of informal methods and strategies adopted by the leader of the Zhang family can successfully achieve the purpose of the whole family participating in the revision of the tree. |
