A Study On The Factors Influencing The Participation Of Residents In Highway Cycling Sports In Yichang City

Road cycling is one of the ways for residents to participate in outdoor leisure activities.With the continuous improvement of China’s social consumption level and demand for national fitness activities,the vigorous development of cycling in China,and the continuous expansion of the industrial scale,China’s road driving sports are in a period of rapid development.In the context of macro policies for rural revitalization and the development of outdoor sports,this article aims to promote the vigorous development of cycling and culture,We conducted relevant research on the influencing factors of residents’ participation in road cycling in Yichang City,comprehensively analyzed the factors that affect residents’ participation in road cycling in Yichang City,and proposed relevant suggestions.This article uses the literature review method to carefully summarize the literature and establish a solid theoretical foundation.By combining my personal experience in road cycling,the main research questions are further raised and relevant survey questionnaires are designed.Through the questionnaire survey method,questionnaires were distributed and collected for road cycling participants in various regions of Yichang City.The original survey data was obtained,and processed and analyzed using relevant mathematical statistical software.The following conclusions were drawn:1.The influencing factors that affect the participation of residents in road cycling sports in Yichang City include cycling environment,related services,event construction,ability performance,emotional expression,ability performance,subjective purpose,and family support.2.Obtain a portrait of the sports population of residents in Yichang City: Their residential areas are mainly concentrated in the urban area of Yichang City,with a gender mainly composed of males and an age range of 18-35 years old.Their educational background is mainly undergraduate and vocational,with more undergraduate than vocational.The annual consumption is mainly concentrated in the range of 2000 to 5000 yuan,and marital status has little impact on participation.3.Different residential areas can lead to different cycling styles.Residents of surrounding counties and cities tend to ride less frequently and over long distances,and their participation in sports is significantly affected by terrain,population age structure,and sales system.4.More than 70% of Yichang residents tend to ride bicycles every day or on weekends,and over 80% of Yichang residents ride 0-80 kilometers per ride.The age group with the highest number of rides is 18-35 years old.5.The cycling environment,event construction,and related services are the main factors limiting the development of road cycling in Yichang City.However,after data analysis,it was found that family factors also affect the participation performance of sports participants.The following suggestions were proposed: 1.Strengthen road construction and design cycling routes;2.Introduce relevant policies to improve service levels;3.Standardize the hosting of events and form regional famous brands...
