Research On The Technical And Tactical Characteristics Of The Second And Fourth Boards Of The World’s Excellent Table Tennis Mixed Double Hand Combination

At the Tokyo Olympics in 2021,mixed doubles was entered into the Olympic table tennis competition for the first time.After the Japanese opposite-handed team,Hayao Mizutani / Misaki Ito,defeated the Chinese opposite-handed team,Xu Xin /Liu Shiwen,and won the championship,the technical and tactical characteristics of mixed doubles-especially the opposite-handed team-became one of the key areas of interest in table tennis training and academic circles.The technical and tactical characteristics of mixed doubles-especially the hetero-sided team-became one of the key areas of interest for the table tennis training and academic community.In mixed doubles matches,the score rate of the catching section has the greatest impact on the probability of winning,and its technical and tactical ability determines the probability of winning for the team to a certain extent.A good catching tactic can not only effectively restrain the opponent’s attack,but also create advantages for your side.Therefore,this paper focuses on the technical and tactical characteristics of the world’s best table tennis mixed doubles(hereinafter referred to as mixed doubles)opposite-sided hand combinations of the catch and serve section two and four boards,and selects 35 pairs of mixed doubles players ranked in the top 50 in the world in2023 #1week in ITTF as the research object(26 pairs of opposite-sided hand combinations),and uses the literature method,video observation method,mathematical and statistical method,and logical analysis method to observe,count and analyze the technical and tactical characteristics of the catch and grab section two and four boards of 56 major international matches of the 35 pairs from2021-2022.The analysis of the technical and tactical choices and the application of the strategic direction of "control" or "attack" in the second and fourth board of the four rounds of the catch and grab section of each match by the heterolateral hand combination led to the following conclusions.(1)In the second and fourth boards,the advantage of men ’s receiving service is obviously greater than that of women,and men are dominant in the receiving section.(2)In the four rounds of the snatch section,the mixed double hand combination has the best scoring effect,followed by : male female round > female female round >female male round.(3)In the second board of the snatch section,the combination of mixed double opposite hands shows the technical and tactical characteristics of ’ female master,male master snatch ’.(4)In the connection of the second and fourth boards,both men and women show the trend of ’ control grab ’ and ’ grab grab ’.(5)The use of repeated line return ball and two big angle line return ball also has a good scoring effect.
