| Research objects:to analyze Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen and Sun Yingsha/Wang Chuxin,two excellent mixed doubles pairs of the Chinese table tennis team,studying their technical and tactical characteristics and effectiveness of the eight different serving and receiving orders of the above two pairs,discovering the winning factors of mixed doubles matches,finding the gap and problems of these two mixed doubles pairs so as to provide future suggestions for their development.Research methods:adopted the"eight rounds three phases evaluation method”,literature review,video observation,mathematical statistics,logistic analysis and so on,this research studied 30 matches from 2017 to 2020 of Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen and Sun Yingsha/Wang Chuxin on their technical and tactical characteristics.The main results are as follows:in serving rounds,after the tactic of short service and attack,the overall scoring rate of the third strike are Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen 72.2%,Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha 67.6%;both pairs have the similar overall using rate of the tactic of short service and control,however,Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen’s overall score rate of 66.7%is better than Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha’s 46.9%.Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen made a lot of end-line long services,with a scoring rate of 66.7%.Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha’s use rate of attack after service tactics was low,with the overall scoring rate 50%,failed the grading evaluation.In terms of long services developed into stalemate phase,Wang Chuqin/Sun Yingsha performed slightly better than Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen.The main reason is that Sun Yingsha’s hook serve is more concealed,which let her long service has a strong tactical sneak attack effect.In the four serving rounds,the scoring rates of both pairs are good.Xu Xin has a greater advantage in serving and third strike attack;Wang Chuxin’s serve poses a great threat to female players,but the scoring rate of Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha in playing order of male-serve-male-receive was 45.3%,which means more points were lost.In receiving rounds,the two pairs of players did not have an absolute advantage.The scoring rates were:Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen 53.4%,Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha 51.9%.Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen used more controlling receiving techniques and had a high scoring rate;Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha had a high direct scoring rate in receiving and backhand loop inside the table techniques,but the scoring rate in subsequent strikes were low,and the 2nd-4th strikes’ tactical system was imperfect,and the techniques of playing stalemate have relative large weak points.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The techniques and tactics of "attack after serve phase" and "attack after receive phase" are still the two most important factors for winning mixed doubles.On the one hand,to score direct points for serve,attack after serve,and attack after receive;on the other hand,to create an advantage to enter the stalemate phase through the rational use of techniques and tactics of "attack after serve phase" and"attack after receive phase".In the serve round,Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen outperformed Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha when they play long serves following with attacks.What’s more,Xu Xin and Liu Shi wen cooperated well with rational position running when making short serves.Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha stayed relative far away from the table in stalemate phase,and Sun Yingsha had a poor stalemate ability in the far distance.(2)In the receive rounds,the use rates of both pairs are relative high for push receive and drop receive,the use rate of flip receive and loop receive comes the second,and the use rate of backhand loop inside the table is the lowest.Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen has a higher scoring rate than Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha after receiving with push or drop;when receive with backhand loop inside the table,Wang Chuxin has higher receive quality,but the score rate is lower than Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen;Male players have a higher score rates after receiving with flips and loops.(3)In the four serve orders,both pairs’ attack effect of the serve rounds are higher than receive rounds.Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen scored more in the third strike and stalemate phase,while Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha scored more in the first three strikes.The dominant rounds of the mixed doubles are the two rounds of the female players’ serve.Wang Chuxin’s serve has no advantage in the male rounds and is easy to be attacked by the opponent,making the rally into a passive situation.(4)In the four receive rounds,Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen performed better than Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha.The tactics of Xu Xin/Liu Shiwen’s attack after receive are mainly to attack after control,and have a strong ability to deal with stalemate phase;the tactics of Wang Chuxin/Sun Yingsha’s attack after receive phase are mainly continuous attack,but the stability of the 2nd-4th strikes’ connection is poor,and lost a lot of points through attack. |
