| FIFA and AFC have introduced measures such as the super long stoppage time policy and the Asian Football Confederation 60 Minutes to reduce dead ball time and improve fluency in matches.China Football Association Super League,as the highest level professional football league in China,is also the main "training factory" for the national team members.In recent years,China’s football performance has been poor,which is closely related to the lagging development of China Super League.The number of dead balls and the long time of dead balls in the Chinese Super League match lead to low game load,low smoothness and poor viewing,which runs counter to the development of modern football.I am lucky to be a professional league referee,and participate in the referee training course of the China Football Professional League with all the Chinese Super League referees.In addition,my mentor participated in the research on the net match time of the Chinese Super League,and I had the honor to follow the study to obtain more representative indicators of dead time at all levels.In order to explore the difference and regularity of the dead ball time characteristics of Chinese,Japanese and English top football leagues,find the factors affecting the dead ball time of Chinese Super League,and put forward corresponding improvement strategies.This paper uses the methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,video observation,mathematical statistics and case analysis to study and analyze the characteristics related to dead ball time in the Chinese Super League,J-League and English Premier League in the 2021 season.This paper hopes to provide certain theoretical and practical basis for relevant football practitioners,The research conclusions are as follows:(1)In the 2021 season,the average dead ball time per game and the average time per game in the Chinese Premier League were 2869.12 seconds and 29.56 seconds respectively,significantly higher than those in the J League and the Premier League;The average number of dead balls per game was 97.53,significantly higher than that of the Premier League.The Chinese Super League has a long dead ball time,many dead balls,low game fluency,poor viewing ability,and low game load,which seriously affects the quality of the game.(2)Compared with the English Premier League,the Chinese Premier League has a long dead ball time and the number of times runs through all areas,all periods and both ends of the attack and defense,Compared with J League,the number of dead balls in the front court and midfield of the field is not much different between1-15 min,31-45+min,46-60 min,76-90+min and the number of dead balls caused by the attackers,but the total dead ball time caused by the delay after the dead ball is significantly higher than J League.(3)In terms of dead ball time,there are 10 factors in CSL that are significantly higher than those in J and Premier League,accounting for 73.70% of the total dead ball time.According to the order of time consumption,they are: ordinary foul,goal kick,injured treatment,corner kick,wall management,disciplinary punishment,video referee intervention,offside,water replenishment suspension,and on-court conflict management.(4)In terms of the number of dead balls,there are 9 factors in the Chinese Premier League that are significantly higher than those in the J League and the English Premier League,accounting for 59.12% of the total number of dead balls.According to the number of times,they are: ordinary foul,goal kick,corner kick,treatment of the injured,disciplinary punishment,wall management,video referee intervention,on-court conflict management,and water replenishment suspension.(5)In terms of the time consumption of each dead ball on the court,there are seven factors in the Chinese Premier League that are significantly higher than those in the J League and the English Premier League.According to the average time consumption,the order is: video referee intervention,injury treatment,disciplinary punishment,field conflict management,offside,common foul and foul.The average time for making up the dead ball in the Chinese Premier League is only 16% of the time for making up the dead ball. |
