| In 2018,the General Administration of Sport of the People’s Republic of China issued the Guiding Opinions on Further Strengthening the Work of Traditional Ethnic Minority Sports.The measures of attaching importance to the protection and inheritance of traditional culture have been strengthened,and the education of traditional ethnic culture has received more and more attention.The major of ethnic traditional sports is a carrier and platform for cultivating and mining,inheriting and disseminating ethnic sports culture talents.Exploring the cultivation ways of this major and how to improve the training quality of this major plays a vital role in the excavation,inheritance and dissemination of ethnic traditional sports culture.Taking the development of traditional ethnic sports major in Wuzhou Vocational College as an example,this paper adopts the methods of literature,field investigation,interview,questionnaire and mathematical statistics to investigate and analyze the talent training objectives,curriculum,faculty,site facilities and training mode of traditional ethnic sports major in Wuzhou Vocational College,so as to find the factors that affect and restrict the development of this major.In view of the existing problems,the optimization path is proposed to improve the training quality of traditional ethnic sports professionals in Wuzhou Vocational College,and to provide reference for accelerating the mining,inheritance and sustainable development of sports culture in Guangxi minority areas.The conclusion is as follows:(1)The university has rich resources for the research of ethnic traditional sports.Tengxian lion dance in our country and even the whole world has strong influence,Wuzhou Vocational college is the only local college that opens national traditional physical education major,as the place of the intangible cultural heritage of dragon and lion,higher vocational colleges,vocational education main positions,it has advantaged talents training advantages.Wuzhou has a special geographical location where Lingnan culture blends with Zhuang culture.It not only has strong local characteristics,but also contains the accumulation of traditional national culture.This major has great development potential,but there are still many problems,which need to be further improved.(2)Clear orientation of talent training objectives of this major.The target design is based on the principle of "wide caliber and thick foundation",so that students can engage in the teaching,training,performance and activity organization and management of ethnic sports,and become comprehensive skilled talents who can promote the inheritance and development of dragon,lion and dragon boat culture and go to the world.This major has a wide range of employment,but at the beginning of the new major,the quality of students is at a disadvantage.Schools need to combine the actual situation of students,and formulate talent training objectives that meet the needs of the society.(3)The curriculum needs to be optimized.At present,a curriculum system with unique regional characteristics has initially taken shape,but non-ethnic traditional sports courses such as track and field,basketball,volleyball and football account for a large proportion.Secondly,we should consider the characteristics of talent training,but also consider the comprehensive development of talent.Moderate increase of ethnic traditional sports related professional courses and elective courses,optimize basketball,volleyball,football and other courses.Attach importance to the cultivation of students’ innovation and entrepreneurship ability,and promote the three-year college students to achieve the goal of comprehensive high-tech skills training.(4)The training venue needs to be further improved.At present,Dragon,lion and wushu share training venues,which basically meet the needs of daily course teaching.However,there is a shortage of training venues for the dragon boat,so it is urgent to build the school dragon boat training room.We will actively seek government support,attract enterprise investment,and build an off-campus training base for ethnic traditional sports with "business and learning" centered on Wuzhou Rose Lake.(5)The construction of teaching staff needs to be strengthened.The teachers of traditional ethnic sports in Wuzhou Vocational College are characterized by low educational background,low professional title,a small proportion of double-qualified teachers,young teachers and other unreasonable phenomena.Teachers with technical skills outside the school are unable to join the teaching team due to their professional titles,academic qualifications and other problems.Improve the teacher quality improvement mechanism and employment mechanism,through the way of "internal training and external introduction",attract more outstanding national traditional sports professionals.(6)Personnel training cooperation mechanism needs to be further improved.The major of traditional Ethnic sports in Wuzhou Vocational College actively explores the development mode of school-enterprise cooperation and the integration of industry and education.School,enterprise and government collaborative education mode has obvious advantages,it facilitates the investment of professional construction,accelerates the introduction of teachers,and promotes the construction of practice platform.At the same time,enterprises should allocate human resources reasonably and effectively according to their own needs,so as to avoid waste of human resources or brain drain.To solve the above problems,the following countermeasures are proposed:1.Adjust the target of talent training;2.Optimize the national traditional sports major related
