With the increasing number of negative incidents reported by the media such as child sexual assault,early pregnancy and miscarriage,and the killing of classmates due to improper handling of interpersonal relationships,all sectors of society have begun to realize the importance of child sex education.Parents hope that their children can master more knowledge and improve their ability to prevent sexual assault;Experts and scholars have called for providing comprehensive sex education for children,popularizing scientific sex education knowledge,cultivating their ability to feel happy,promoting their development in knowledge,skills,attitudes,and values,and ensuring their lifelong health,happiness,and dignity.Over the years,social organizations,as the third sector,have provided suggestions to alleviate various social problems,reducing the burden on government work.In particular,social organizations have played a key role in the "difficult" issue of sex education,many social service organizations have used professional methods to intervene in children’s sex education using social work service projects as carriers.However,it was unclear how effective the intervention would be,what problems existed in the project implementation process,and whether the project was sustainable and promotional.Under such circumstances,the author attempts to use an integrated oriented evaluation model that combines process evaluation and outcome evaluation to evaluate the project of social work intervention in child sex education instructor training.During the evaluation process,the literature method,participatory observation method,questionnaire survey method,and unstructured interview method were used to collect data.After an objective and comprehensive evaluation,it was found that social workers,with their rich professional knowledge reserves and strong professional skills,were able to effectively transmit children’s sex education knowledge and impart sex education teaching skills to teachers and students.By guiding students to review "sex" related events in their lives and exploring the role they can play in these events,students are encouraged to voluntarily join the queue to promote the development of children’s sex education from the heart. |
