| Swimming performance is directly related to lung function, especially the ability of ventilator. The ventilator can be improved,so that students can reduce the demand for respiratory metabolism during swimming, effectively delay the time of respiratory muscle fatigue, and improve the ability to withstand hypoxia; At the same time,it also reduces the body shape resistance caused by ventilation, thus improving their sports performance. This paper discusses the influence of breath holding training on the breathing machine capacity and 50 meter self swimming performance of students majoring in physical education by comparing the breath holding training of swimming with the 12 week experiment of traditional routine training. It provides reference for later teaching and training.Randomly select two swimming classes of the 2019 level physical education major of Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education as the experimental objects,Class1 as the control group,Class 2 as the experimental group, with 18 students in each class. In this study, literature, expert interviews, experiments, mathematical statistics and other research methods were used to conduct a 12 week experimental study. In order to more accurately evaluate the impact of the two training methods on the ventilator energy,in addition to the commonly used ventilatory energy indicators such as vital capacity and maximum ventilation, the maximum suction pressure and suction flow rate in the Powerbreath K5 deep breathing trainer were also selected to conduct a more comprehensive and accurate analysis of the experimental research. The research results are as follows:(1)In terms of the index of maximum suction pressure, after the experiment, the experimental group and the control group were compared within the group, and both improved. The comparative study on the increase range of the maximum suction pressure of the two groups was conducted again, and the increase range of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(p<0.01);(2)In terms of inspiratory flow rate, after the experiment, the experimental group and the control group were compared within the group, and both groups were improved. The comparison of the increase of inspiratory flow rate between the two groups was conducted again, and the increase of inspiratory flow rate in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group(p<0.01);(3)In terms of vital capacity indicators, after the experiment, the experimental group and the control group were compared within the group, both of them were improved. The comparative study on the increase range of vital capacity of the two groups was conducted again, and the increase range of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(p<0.01);(4)In terms of time vital capacity indicators, after the experiment, the experimental group and the control group were compared within the group, and both improved. The comparative study on the increase range of time vital capacity of the two groups was conducted again, and the increase range of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(p<0.01);(5)In terms of the maximum ventilation index, after the experiment, the experimental group and the control group were compared within the group, and both improved. The comparative study on the increase of the maximum ventilation of the two groups was conducted again, and the increase of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(p<0.01);(6)In terms of 50 meter freestyle performance indicators, after the experiment, the experimental group and the control group were compared within the group, both of which were improved. The comparative study on the improvement range of three indicators, namely the first 50 meter ventilation distance, the total 50 meter ventilation times and the 50 meter freestyle time, was conducted again in the two groups. The improvement range of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(p<0.01).The conclusions are as follows:(1)The targeted and planned breath holding training is superior to the traditional routine swimming training in improving the ventilator capacity of the swimming students of physical education majors.Through 12 weeks of closed air training to exercise the respiratory muscles of students majoring in physical education, their maximum inspiratory pressure, inspiratory flow rate, vital capacity, time vital capacity, maximum ventilation and other ventilatory indexes have been significantly improved.(2)The targeted and planned breath holding training is superior to the traditional routine swimming training in improving the performance of 50 meter freestyle for the swimming students of physical education majors.Through 12 weeks of breath holding training to improve the breathing machine capacity of the swimming specialized students of physical education, thus improving the students’ 50 meter freestyle performance. |
