| Prose is a narrative style that uses words as the object of creation and aesthetic appreciation,expressing the author’s sincere emotions.Its characteristic is "scattered in form but not scattered in spirit".Travel notes are a form of prose that records what one sees and hears during their travels from the author’s perspective.In the departmental edition of junior high school Chinese language textbooks,a large number of travel prose is selected,using sincere and delicate language to fully integrate aesthetics into the teaching of travel prose by describing the author’s observations and feelings.It is a key carrier for students to acquire knowledge,cultivate sentiment,and continuously improve their aesthetic appreciation ability.Therefore,studying and analyzing the composition and aesthetic elements of travel prose in textbooks has become an indispensable part of Chinese aesthetic teaching.Based on the new curriculum standard of 2022 edition,this paper adopts five main research methods,including literature analysis,text analysis,case analysis,questionnaire survey and interview.It is based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,Pan Zhichang’s life aesthetics theory,Li Zehou’s practical aesthetics theory and Jauss’ reception aesthetics theory.From the aesthetic point of view,this paper focuses on the aesthetic sense of travel prose itself,in order to analyze and summarize the composition and aesthetic elements of travel prose in junior middle school Chinese,and explore the aesthetic value contained in it.In the process of the author’s internship,through the questionnaire survey of 630 students and 100 teachers and the offline interview of 30 teachers,the author summarized the current situation of the aesthetic teaching of travel prose in junior middle school,analyzed the reasons for the current situation,combined with typical lessons,and proposed corresponding improvement strategies from different perspectives.In the process of current situation investigation,the author,starting from the five aspects of teaching objectives,teaching content,understanding ability,teaching activities and teaching evaluation,found that there are many problems in the teaching process of travel notes prose,such as serious utilitarian teaching tendency,neglect of travel notes style itself,lack of cognitive comprehension,solidification of teaching methods,and single evaluation perspective.Therefore,in the process of analyzing the questionnaire data and interview data,this study divides the reasons for the current situation of travel prose aesthetic teaching into the following five categories:(1)The teaching method is solidified and lacks aesthetic appreciation guidance;(2)The students’ aesthetic experience is not profound due to their little life experience;(3)Exam-oriented education tends to be serious,and aesthetic awareness is generally not high;(4)The travel prose is not valued and lacks high-quality teaching case reference;(5)The teaching evaluation mechanism is not perfect,and the specific implementation strategy is deficient.As an important part of the history of Chinese literature,travel prose plays an irreplaceable role in both the ideological and literary fields,with its distinct modernity and literary qualities,demonstrating a special and important position.In order to better carry out aesthetic education in the teaching of travel essays,this study selected three typical travel essays: A Night Tour of Chengtian Temple,A Drop of Water Passing through Lijiang,and The Story of Xiaoshitan for classroom teaching case analysis with different aesthetic dimensions.Finally,from four perspectives: awakening students’ interest in aesthetic appreciation,stimulating students’ aesthetic feelings,inspiring students’ aesthetic imagination,and encouraging students’ aesthetic creation,Constructing aesthetic teaching strategies for travel prose from shallow to deep.With the help of these teaching strategies,we aim to maximize the presentation of the beauty in travel prose to students and unleash the aesthetic value that travel prose should possess. |
