| Pretend play is one of the common play behaviors during children’s growth.Through exploring the mixed digital characteristics of preschool children under the guidance of pretend play theory,children’s pretend play experience is improved.At present,a large number of research results on pretend play theory have partially explained the learning and growth characteristics and development rules of children in pretend play,but most of the research has not conducted a prospective discussion on digital context.The research on pretend play in mixed reality virtual-real context is still in a blank stage.Therefore,this study,with the help of integrated research perspective and diversified research methods,comprehensively analyzes the characteristics of children’s performance,the expansion of mixed space and the influence of children’s growth on their development in mixed reality children’s pretend play context.This topic is based on the research idea of digital interaction,and focuses on three parts: "What is pretend game","why should it be involved in mixed reality technology" and "how to design it specifically".First of all,through systematic theoretical research methods,starting from the conceptual core of pretend play,the paper analyzes the main demands of children’s pretend play,which serves as the theoretical basis of this topic.Through observation method and literature research method,children’s behaviors are observed and the behavioral characteristics of pretend play theory and the application status of mixed reality technology in the digital context are analyzed.Current digital applications in pretend play lack systematic strategies to lead children to play interest in critical information.Therefore,the trend of virtual digital application of pretend games needs to be discussed in order to deal with the problem.Secondly,the study conducts an in-depth analysis of the content of pretend play and introduces mixed reality technology to solve the problems found in theoretical analysis,exploring the feasibility of applying mixed reality technology to preschool children.Children usually encounter various symbolic content in pretend play,and their symbolic level and meta-communicative ability will continuously improve with age.Combining the visual fluency and spatial flexibility of mixed reality technology,as well as the characteristics that blur the boundaries between virtual and reality,fantasy and reality,the study realizes the mutual communication between mixed reality situations and pretend play.By purposeful and targeted observation,the study focuses on the core components of children’s pretend play and uses mixed reality digital technology and structures to improve their game experience,thereby enhancing the level of children’s pretend play and promoting its broader impact and development in life.Finally,based on the developmental rules and characteristics of preschool children in pretend play,the study incorporates the fantasy,challenge,and curiosity of mixed game materials into the design strategy of children’s pretend play under new interactive experiences,satisfying their demands for pretend play.This study opens up new ideas for the digitalization and theoretical research of children’s pretend play,helping to achieve the purpose of pretend play and providing new directions for the development of mixed game materials for children in the future. |
