After the implementation of the National Fitness Plan(2016-2020),more people have joined the marathon, and marathon has gradually become one of the popular mass sports. In recent years, many excellent Chinese athletes have emerged in the international marathon.Among them,Yang Dinghong,a male marathon runner from Yunnan Province, made an important breakthrough in his career in the 2017 Wuxi Marathon, and won a lot of attention in the 2021 Xiamen Marathon with excellent results. To this end, this article with Yang Dinghong in preparation for 2017 and 2021 Xiamen marathon before the success of the training case study, using the literature method, case investigation, mathematical statistical analysis, experts and scholars interview research methods,is Yang Dinghong in Wuxi and Xiamen marathon training time, training object, training tasks, training focus, training methods of targeted research. The study of Yang Dinghong’s pre-race training can provide a basis for his pre-marathon training, thus laying a theoretical basis for the planning and development of pre-race marathon training.Studies include:1.A comparative analysis of Yang Dinghong’s pre-race training plans for Wuxi Marathon and Xiamen Marathon, both of which lasted for 12 weeks. The 12-week training time is divided into three stages, among which the first stage is the early preparation, which lasts 1-4 weeks;the second stage is the middle preparation, which is the strengthening stage of the training, which lasts 5-10 weeks;and the third stage is the late training, which is also the pre-competition adjustment period, which lasts 11-12 weeks.2.In the early preparation of aerobic endurance training, its purpose is to lay the foundation for special physical reserve;in the middle stage of preparation, the amount of training should be appropriately adjusted to focus on high-quality training, increasing exercise load and exerting pressure on the body. The third stage was a two-week pre-race adjustment period aimed at adjusting physical and mental condition and exhaustion from previous training.3.Compared with the domestic first-class marathon runners,Yang Dinghong has a higher level of physical fitness and endurance, but his endurance is insufficient, and his sprinting ability in the middle and far sections and the back sections still need to be improved. Therefore,in the follow-up training,Yang Dinghong also needs to ensure the stability of personal physical quality, and continue to strengthen the special training and increase the training of sprint ability to adapt to the requirements of the competition.4.In terms of the training amount of Yang Dinghong before the Wuxi Marathon and Xiamen Marathon, the total training amount of the 12 weeks before the Wuxi Marathon was 2230.5km,and the average weekly running amount was 186 km.The total training amount of Xiamen Marathon in the 12 weeks before the race was 2343.5km,and the average weekly running amount was 195 km.The maximum daily training is38 km and the maximum weekly running is 249 km.The minimum weekly training was108.5km.In terms of training load intensity, the load intensity of general training courses should be kept within 75% and the pace should be 4:30/km,while the load intensity of key courses should be controlled within 95% and the pace should be3:20/km.5.It was found that Yang Dinghong’s training before Xiamen Marathon had a significant impact on his physiological and biochemical indexes, indicating that Yang Dinghong’s training load configuration was reasonable.During the adjustment period of two weeks before the race,Yang Dinghong’s physiological and biochemical parameters were all within the reference range, which greatly improved the actual utilization rate of body functions during the pre-race training.6.Compared with foreign athletes,Yang Dinghong’s pre-competition training is somewhat monotonous in means.Influenced by the old coaches in the 1990 s,their training methods were mostly empirical and lack of in-depth biological theory support.Based on the findings, the following recommendations are made:1.Excellent marathon runners can learn the project purposefully and in a planned way according to their own details. To provide experience for other athletes and theoretical guidance for the development of the marathon.2.Yang Dinghong should pay attention to the detection of physiological and biochemical indicators in the future training.3.Carry out training methods according to the situation of the team members and adjust the training layout according to the changes of the body function of the team members to prevent injury and excessive fatigue.4.Record the athletes’ pre-competition training content in detail, according to the athlete’s condition and physiological and biochemical indexes in training, the training content and training load are adjusted reasonably,so as to provide a guarantee for scientific and systematic training.5.Training increases the way of changing the venue to adjust the state and excitability of the athletes and delay the generation of fatigue.6.In terms of pre-competition training methods, refer to advanced foreign experience and explore innovative training methods.
