The lingua franca is the cultural foundation of national unification.In recent years,the situation of students learning the country’s lingua franca in ethnic minority areas of China has been greatly improved,but oral language teaching is relatively weak.Through literature analysis and current situation investigation,this thesis found the following problems in the oral teaching of the national standard language: the mean teaching method and the lack of classroom resources lead to low oral communication ability and poor standards.In oral teaching,teachers can use intelligent speech technology’s on-demand input and error correction functions to solve the above problems.This thesis first constructs a framework for using intelligent speech technology to teach Mandarin.Then,the thesis conducts action research to modify the framework iteratively.Finally,the thesis verifies the effectiveness of the teaching activity framework.The main works and originalities of this thesis are as follows.Firstly,the thesis constructs a framework using intelligent speech technology to assist oral teaching activities in teaching Mandarin.First,the thesis clarifies the role of intelligent speech technology in teaching by analyzing the teaching attributes of intelligent speech technology.Then,the thesis determines the convergence point of intelligent speech technology into the production-oriented approach by summarizing the teaching philosophy and process.Finally,the thesis integrates intelligent speech synthesis and evaluation technology into three three-teaching(drive,facilitation,and evaluation)by formulating teaching principles according to teaching needs and constructing a framework for intelligent speech technology to assist Mandarin teaching activities.Secondly,the thesis carried out the teaching practice of intelligent speech technology-assisted Mandarin teaching.This thesis carried out three rounds of action research,using classroom observation,oral expression ability test,and oral quantitative evaluation to detect and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching implementation and improve the framework of teaching activities.The first round of teaching practice has the problems of low student engagement,insufficient evaluation resources,and student attention bias.These questions guide the optimization framework to create real needs scenarios in the driving link,prepare the teaching of intelligent voice tools in the promotion link,and strengthen classroom control.The second round of teaching solved the problems of lack of order in using tools and lack of process evaluation of students.These questions guide the optimization framework to strengthen the consolidation and summary of knowledge in the promotion link and arrange teaching assistants to manage the classroom.The third round of teaching practice has the problem of teaching content and the intensity of using intelligent voice tools.These questions guide the optimization framework that needs to integrate intelligent voice tools into daily language teaching.Finally,the thesis verifies the effectiveness of intelligent speech technology in assisting the oral teaching framework of Mandarin.In the thesis,univariate repeated ANOVA was carried out on oral expression proficiency test results,comparative analysis of oral quantitative assessment data,and qualitative expression of classroom observation after teaching practice.The data proves intelligent speech technology can improve students’ verbal communication ability in the national standard language.The data verify the effectiveness of the intelligent speech technology-assisted Mandarin teaching activities framework. |
