Since the unified edition of primary school Chinese textbooks was put into use,teachers have paid more attention to literacy,reading,writing and other sections.But they paid less attention to oral communication,and had insufficient understanding of the characteristics of oral communication editing,resulting in poor teaching effect.According to the research,some scholars have studied the editing characteristics of oral communication,but few of them throw out teaching suggestions according to the editing characteristics of each learning section.This paper takes 47 oral communications in textbooks of primary school Chinese in the unified edition as the research object,trying to summarize the editing characteristics of each learning section of oral communication,and attempt to put forward teaching suggestions according to learning sections.This study mainly adopts literature research,text analysis,and questionnaire survey methods.When studying the editing and selection characteristics of oral communication,we mainly research the characteristics of the topic,communication types,and presentation.It is found that oral communication has different emphases in different sections,and there is a close cohesion between different sections as a whole.In the investigation of the current teaching situation of oral communication,through the teacher’s paper survey,we can know the primary school Chinese teachers’ basic understanding of oral communication,implementation,evaluation,and teaching suggestions.And through the student’s paper,we can know the pupils’ attitude towards oral communication,cognition,and application.According to the characteristics of oral communication editing and teaching status,the following teaching suggestions are put forward: in the first learning section,it is to arouse interest and cultivate preliminary oral communication ability;in the second learning section,it is to handle the transition and connection well,and develop advanced oral communication ability;in the third learning section,it is to develop the ability of thinking and help form critical communication skills.Based on the editing and selection of oral communication in the unified edition of primary school Chinese textbooks,the teaching suggestions put forward in this paper can not only reflect the characteristics of editing and selection of oral communication in a more comprehensive way,but also help teachers make good use of textbooks and carry out targeted teaching,so as to further improve the oral communication ability of pupils.
