| Labor is the essential characteristic of human beings,the basic way of human survival and development,and the important premise of happiness.In 2020,the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities,Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era,which proposed that "labor education should be included in the whole process of personnel training,through all school stages,and through all aspects of family,school and society".Under the guidance of the above goals,how to combine education and production labor in the process of education in the new era background?With the rapid development of our country,current college students enjoy rich material resources and live a good life without worry.The way of work has changed quietly.The simple physical effort gradually does not adapt to the labor requirements of the society The concept of labor gradually faded in college students,and many college students even breed the idea of loathing labor and coveting pleasure,and the educational value of labor is neglected.Based on this,this study carried out a survey of college students’ labor education,in order to improve college students’ labor education suggestions,better play the unique education value of labor education.This study takes ancient Chinese labor education thought,Marxist view of labor education,Sinicized Marxist labor education thought and Xi Jinping’s important discourse on labor education as the root,selects the undergraduate of eight universities in Yunnan Province as the research object,and summarizes the gains and losses of the current college labor education by analyzing the answers to 453 questionnaires and conducting in-depth interviews.The results show that the current labor education of college students is effective,which is manifested in the formation of correct values of college students,the gradual development of appropriate labor practice,the gradual improvement of the degree of attention of colleges and universities,and the emergence of successful demonstration schools.But at the same time,there are a series of problems: including the content of labor education is one-sided,college students labor practice attitude is not good,practice place gap,education effect gender stratification.To excavate the reasons for the existing problems,it can be attributed to the lack of attention of colleges and universities,the deviation of students’ understanding,the lack of development of educational resources,and the supporting mechanism to be improved.Based on this,taking colleges and universities as the main body,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve college students’ labor education: firstly,we should perfect the labor education system of colleges and universities,including developing the curriculum system,and provide certain manpower and material resources guarantee;Secondly,we should give full play to students’ subjective initiative,strengthen students’ self-education,and mobilize students’ self-education consciousness through the school’s cultural construction.Thirdly,colleges and universities should strengthen social support to ensure the supply of educational resources by cooperating with different departments.Finally,we should improve the supporting mechanism of labor education in colleges and universities,including the learning evaluation mechanism for students and the coordination mechanism with families. |
