The new development stage has brought about multi-dimensional changes in the internal and external environment of regional economic and social development,including the development of education for the aged,which requires that the development of education for the aged in different regions must make the path choice in accordance with its requirements.Shenzhen,as one of the first-tier cities in China with the lowest degree of population aging,should choose a different path from the deeply aging cities in the development of education for the elderly.However,the specific way of this road still needs to be solved by multiple disciplines of pedagogy,sociology and economics.Therefore,on the basis of the existing related research,this paper chooses the structuralism theory and the operation of the theory of internal and external relations of education as the starting point,focuses on the development environment of Shenzhen education for the elderly in the new development stage,and comprehensively explores the appropriate path for the development of Shenzhen education for the elderly from two dimensions of theory and practice.First of all,the relationship between structure and function in structural functionalism as the theoretical model,from the theory clearly clarified the development of Shenzhen education for the elderly should state(should structure state,should function state,should development idea),and then on this basis,combined with the actual state of Shenzhen education for the elderly determined,The difference between the "should be" and "reality" state of Shenzhen education for the elderly is defined fundamentally,and then the corresponding solution path is put forward.The main conclusions of the study are summarized as follows:(1)The proper state of education for the aged in Shenzhen is the pluralistic unity of its structure,function and development concept.In terms of its structure,namely its hierarchy,layout and form structure,it should be able to adapt to and moderately ahead of the basic needs of the construction of Shenzhen socialist pilot demonstration zone;In terms of function,it should maximize the needs of the elderly education itself and the educated,and on the basis of meeting the overall needs of the country and taking into account the regional reality,make the elderly education organizers satisfied,so that the elderly education resources in the region can be optimized;Ideologically,it adheres to the leading concept of late-developing supplementary education for the elderly.(2)Between the actual pattern and the expected pattern of the development of education for the elderly in Shenzhen,there are structural problems of "contradiction between supply and demand,shortage of teachers,single subject,low quality",functional problems of "insufficient adaptability to economic and social development,poor allocation of resources,low satisfaction of participants",and ideological problems of "unclear development goals,unclear school-running orientation".(3)Based on the new development stage of Shenzhen education for the elderly development,should do a good job in the elderly education market regulation,policy guidance and quality assurance,need in the comprehensive introduction of market forces on the basis of adhering to the stratified and classified diversification of development road,to achieve the elderly education of the main body of diversification,diversification of education methods,comprehensive teaching content,teaching personnel professionalization.
