A Study On The History Of The Development Of The Shooting Star Hammer

Meteor hammer evolved from a production tool in ancient times to an important example of martial arts equipment.In the evolution of history,it has developed more social and cultural attributes and become a component of military and folk martial arts and martial arts performances,with distinct historical and unique characteristics.As an instrument with typical characteristics in wushu,its formation and development is not overnight,but based on long-term life and war accumulated experience,through the continuous practice of ancient ancestors,condensed into today’s performance and fighting as one of the appearance.As a soft instrument,before the Ming Dynasty,it was a kind of weapon category with no standardized pattern and specification,so it was more complicated and scattered in historical documents and unearthed cultural relics.At present,there is a lack of comprehensive analysis of the development of meteor hammer.In this paper,many rock paintings,unearthed artifacts,museum collections,Chinese history,local Chronicles,military Chronicles,novel essays and other materials about meteor hammer are found.Literature research method,historical method,image analysis method,supplemented by the technical characteristics of meteor hammer,is used to explore its development history according to the chronological order of historical development.The analysis of the historical origin,shape and quality characteristics,technical characteristics and cultural connotation of meteor hammer is not only the tracing,supplement and expansion of the history of martial arts instruments,but also has certain historical value and historical significance,which can provide historical experience and historical basis for the contemporary development of meteor hammer.The results are as follows:First,the prehistoric meteor hammer was a stone production tool.The combination of perforated stone and rattan rope laid the foundation for its shape.The prehistoric rock paintings proved that it was mainly used for hunting in the early days.Second,the bronze meteor hammer was born in the Xia,Shang and Zhou dynasties.The transformation of shape and system was the basis for its progress to military service.During this period,it became a weapon widely used by people in many regions.Third,the iron meteor hammer appeared in the Qin,Han,Wei and Jin dynasties.The assassination activities in this stage accelerated its functional transformation,and the martial arts performance promoted its technological update.Fourthly,during the Tang,Song and Yuan dynasties,meteor hammer blended with multi-ethnic cultures and formed the technology of horse riding warfare.In the Song Dynasty,it appeared in the military martial arts,and in the folk development because of the association,the Guolan,the Yuan drama of the influence of new changes in technology;Fifthly,until the Ming Dynasty,meteor hammer was developed to varying degrees in both military and folk martial arts.Under the interaction of multiple environments,its technology gradually matured,and it was transformed into a standard weapon capable of mounting on a large scale.In addition,it was named for its resemblance to "meteor".Sixth,the meteor hammer in the Qing Dynasty made a new breakthrough in military and folk,combat and martial arts.The development of firearms promoted its transition to folk martial arts,but it was still not completely retired from military martial arts.It was mostly used as a secret weapon,a protective weapon and an auxiliary device by people of all levels.Seventh,the Shaoxing hammer,which has entered the process of sports in modern times,takes wushu routine as its main form of expression,and its contemporary development should adhere to the concept of "blending percussion and dance".
