With the implementation of the family planning policy,there have been a large number of one-child families in China.In the risk society,the death of some only children has produced many families who lost their only child.The original family structure of these families has collapsed,and the wishes of the parents who lost their only child to ’ raise their children for old age ’ have been dashed.With the growth of age,this group faces a series of pension problems:lack of support for family pension,high institutional pension costs,and uneven service levels.The pension problem of the group who lost their only child has become a social problem that cannot be ignored.However,there is no perfect social security system to solve the pension problem of this group in China.Therefore,it is of great significance for China to build a harmonious society to explore a new model of home care service,solve the pension problem of the elderly who lost their only child,and realize the elderly who lost their only child.From the perspective of social support theory,this study comprehensively uses literature research method,in-depth interview method,participatory observation method and scale method to objectively and truly present the problems faced by the elderly who lost their only child in home care,including lack of professional services,lack of daily activities,and lack of perfect social support network.With a comprehensive social work method,that is,group work and community work intervention,through the formation of emotional mutual support support groups to provide emotional support for the elderly who lost their only child;provide community support for the elderly who lost their only child by forming a community volunteer team,linking community hospitals and community properties;by exploring interests and hobbies,holding festival activities to provide interpersonal support for the elderly who lost their only child,meet the needs of the elderly who lost their only child in emotional comfort,daily care,home safety,medical health,interpersonal communication and social participation,and provide professional home care services for the elderly who lost their only child.Finally,this paper evaluates the effectiveness of this home-based care service activity,discusses the summary and reflection of social work intervention in the home-based care service for the elderly who lost their only child,and puts forward reasonable suggestions,that is,to establish and improve the social security system for the elderly who lost their only child,to build a social support platform for the elderly who lost their only child,and to introduce professional social work talents. |
