A Study On Narrative Sequence In Football Commentar

With the development of society and economy and the continuous improvement of national living standards,sports events including football have increasingly become an important part of the spiritual and cultural life of the public.During the live broadcast of the football game,the football commentator plays a key role in real-time analysis and creation of the game,and undertakes the important task of outputting professional information to the audience.However,at a time when the audience’s enthusiasm for watching the game is increasing and the requirements for the interpretation level are becoming more stringent,the level of the domestic football commentator team is uneven,and the number of professional football commentators is seriously insufficient,which has seriously affected the satisfaction of the audience’s demand for high-quality watching the game.Based on this,this paper attempts to carry out theoretical research and practical summary of football interpretation from the perspective of narrative timing,hoping to provide a theoretical research and interpretation practice idea for reference for the majority of football interpretation fans while improving their interpretation level.This graduation project is generally divided into two parts: theoretical research and practical creation.In terms of theoretical research,this paper takes the commentary text of CCTV commentator Liu Jiayuan in the match between Brazil and Belgium in the quarter finals of the 2018 Russian World Cup as the research object,and uses Genette’s time narrative theory to analyze the commentary text of the match sentence by sentence.Among them,the focus is on the proportion,specific presentation,main application scenarios and the final effect of different narrative sequences such as pre-narration,flashback and pre-narration in the commentary text of the game.Combined with the characteristics of the football match,the application of different narrative sequences in it is analyzed in detail to understand the application characteristics of narrative sequences in the football interpretation language.Based on the analysis of the inverted narrative sequence in the football interpretation text,this paper attempts to make a theoretical summary of it,and tries to summarize and extract the relevant knowledge and general methods of narrative sequence that can be applied to the interpretation practice,such as: which scenes and opportunities in the game can use the narrative language of flashback and pre-narration,the precautions for using different narrative sequence in the interpretation How to better grasp the time reversal technique in the interpretation.In terms of practical creation,this design selects the match between England and France in the quarter finals of the 2022 Qatar World Cup as the object of interpretation and practice.Apply the general methods summarized in the previous theoretical research part to the interpretation practice,and complete a commentary piece that can meet the requirements of provincial television stations.Through the practice of interpretation creation,while testing and thinking about the relevant conclusions of the previous theoretical research part,we can also further train and improve our football interpretation level in practice.
