Objective: The purpose of this study was to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of physical activity behaviors of junior high school students according to their characteristics,construct an evaluation index system,and recommend corresponding physical activities for junior high school students with different physical health levels to enhance their physical fitness.Methods: The evaluation dimensions and comprehensive evaluation indexes of physical activity behaviors of junior high school students were determined by literature method along with theoretical analysis.The physical activity behaviors of795 junior high school students in Jiangxi Province were investigated by questionnaire method,and the physical fitness of 795 junior high school students was measured by test method.The data of physical activity behavior were dimensionless by normalization method,and the standard scores were used to construct the physical activity behavior evaluation model by factor analysis and linear regression equation.The ROC curves were used to control for variables,and the appropriate amount of physical activity behavior was recommended for students with different levels of physical fitness to achieve higher levels of physical fitness.Results:(1)The recommended rate of satisfying sleep duration for junior high school students in Jiangxi Province was 42.39%,and the recommended rate of satisfying physical activity was 49.4%.The physical fitness rate of junior high school students in Jiangxi Province was 3.6% for excellent,25.3% for good,91.3% for pass,and 8.7% for fail.(2)Through literature review and theoretical analysis,10 indicators(weekly sleep duration,VPA frequency,VPA duration,MPA frequency,MPA duration,LPA frequency,LPA duration,energy consumption value,SB frequency,SB duration)in 3dimensions(sleep behavior,physical activity,and sedentary behavior)were identified as the primary indicators for physical activity behavior evaluation.According to the requirements of factor analysis and linear regression equation,seven indicators,including weekly sleep duration,VPA duration,MPA frequency,MPA duration,LPA frequency,LPA duration and SB duration,were finally determined as the evaluation indicators of physical activity behavior of junior high school students.(3)Multiple regression analysis was conducted on the total physical fitness score of junior high school students in Jiangxi Province with the three dimensions of physical activity behavior: sleep behavior,physical activity,and sedentary behavior,and the regression equation was obtained as follows: physical fitness score = 33.577 +0.048*sleep behavior + 0.416*physical activity + 0.366*sedentary behavior,where the weighted score of physical activity = 17.59%* VPA hours + 20.92%*MPA frequency + 20.50%*MPA hours + 20.19%*LPA frequency + 20.81%*LPA hours.(4)To improve the physical fitness of students with low physical health level,based on the evaluation model of physical activity behavior of junior high school students,and controlling the sleep behavior and sedentary behavior of junior high school students with corresponding physical health level at an intermediate level,it is recommended that junior high school students with failing physical health level perform VPA duration of 45 minutes/week,MPA frequency of 8 times/week,MPA duration of 295 minutes/week,LPA frequency of 12 The students with good and excellent levels of physical health were recommended to improve their sleep,physical activity,and sedentary behavior in many ways.to achieve higher health benefits.Conclusion:(1)The evaluation index system of physical activity behavior of junior high school students in Jiangxi province consists of 7 indicators in 3dimensions.(2)Physical activity has an important influence on students’ physical fitness,not only directly,but also indirectly through sleep and sedentary behavior.(3)The evaluation model of physical activity behavior of junior high school students in Jiangxi Province has a good fit and can be applied to optimize students’ physical activity behavior and improve physical fitness.
