Representative novels reflecting the Chinese revolutionary tradition have always been one of the priorities of high school students and occupy an important position in Chinese teaching in high schools.On the basis of research kailu Mongolian middle school,the author found that the current high school Chinese novel teaching revolutionary tradition work is still a single theme on the main part,rarely with seminars to read the whole book,so that the students for the revolutionary works involved in related plot only fragmentation,and the lack of their independent thinking.Through analyzing the questionnaire and sorting out the interview records of Chinese teachers,the author believes that the reading teaching of revolutionary traditional works has the following problems: the pre-class leading mode is single,the teaching links lack diversity,the classroom presentation is more than the classroom interaction,and the curriculum lacks extension and sublimation.Teachers and students have a good overall sense of the special seminar,but Chinese teachers do not use it very frequently in the actual classroom teaching process.The main reasons are the short implementation time of the curriculum reform,the lack of teaching experience in reading the whole book,the limitation of the teaching progress and the influence of the concept of exam-oriented education.The seminar of Chinese revolutionary traditional works is a teaching method to select representative works reflecting Chinese revolutionary tradition on the basis of "study of Chinese revolutionary traditional works" and set up relevant topics for in-depth study.Its characteristic is characterized by problem oriented,through a variety of classroom forms,set up thematic learning.In the teaching practice of reading the whole book in high school,teachers should do the following tasks: first,to clarify the main tasks of text reading;second,to construct a rich and diverse classroom mode;third,to take into account the effective connection between class and under class;and fourth,to pay attention to students’ independent discussion and communication.The implementation strategies of the special discussion of Chinese revolutionary traditional works include: refining the learning tasks and finding the key points,focusing on the interaction between teachers and students,and making multiple discussion subjects;writing reading notes and assigning research assignments,timely sorting and recording the research results.The author carries out teaching practice according to the implementation strategy of thematic discussion of Chinese revolutionary traditional works.The teaching practice shows that the development of thematic discussion class fully stimulates students’ independent inquiry ability,and students can actively participate in the classroom,so as to complete the teaching task together with teachers.Of course,the reading seminar also needs to be improved in the future teaching practice.In short,reading the whole book in the special seminar class can greatly improve the students’ independent reading ability and the level of problem inquiry.
