The Research On Discipline Construction Of Local Universities From The Perspective Of Resource Endowment

The policy of "double first-class" has brought unprecedented development opportunities to local colleges and universities.However,these colleges are limited by the bottleneck of basic resources,making to achieve a higher level difficultly.Local colleges and universities should break the restriction of basic resources on the basis of comprehensive understanding of their own resource endowment.The perspective of resource endowment not only emphasizes the role of basic resources such as human,financial and material resources,but also pays attention to the mining and application of characteristic resources.On the basis of resource endowment,it is a rational choice to make scientific positioning and pursue rational structure,high quality,distinctive features and significant benefits in local colleges.It is of both theoretical and practical significance to explore the discipline construction of local universities from the perspective of resource endowment.The paper divides the perspective of resource endowment into two aspects: basic resources and characteristic resources,according to the related research of resource endowment,university development and discipline construction,combined with the actual discipline construction in local universities.Basic resources are the basic guarantee for the existence and development of disciplines,including finance,human,material and institutional resources.Characteristic resources decide the direction of discipline construction and then affect the discipline structure,including regional resources and cluster resources.This chapter observes and explores the present situation,existing issues and cause of discipline construction in local universities from the perspective of resource endowment,and puts forward targeted measures.Generally speaking,local colleges and universities are faced with the restriction of basic resource endowment,and the leading role of the advantageous characteristic disciplines formed by relying on characteristic resources needs to be strengthened.Therefore,local colleges and universities must adhere to the concept and development orientation of serving regional social development,give full play to the radiating and driving role of dominant and characteristic disciplines,and form a symbiotic relationship of multi-disciplinary interdependence and mutual promotion,thereby promote the development of other disciplines.At the same time,local colleges can obtain social resources by broadening the sources of funds,cultivating applied talents for the region,and innovating the discipline system,which provides guarantee for the development of dominant disciplines and forms a virtuous circle of resource investment,discipline construction and regional development.
