| Objective: This study takes the application of PBL teaching method to swimming teaching in universities as the research object,to explore the teaching effect of PBL teaching method compared with conventional teaching,and to improve the current conventional teaching methods in swimming classes as the main purpose.Methods: In order to achieve the purpose of verifying the effectiveness of PBL in swimming teaching,this study comprehensively used the method of literature review to sort out the concept of PBL teaching method,and the research situation of PBL application in non physical education and physical education disciplines.Using experimental methods,mathematical statistics,and survey methods,the differences and effects between conventional teaching and PBL teaching methods in college swimming teaching were verified in groups.Through 16 weeks of teaching,Using a combination of tests and questionnaires,starting with the PBL teaching method’s ability to discover,analyze,and solve problems in terms of body shape,physical fitness,learning interest,cooperative awareness,and communication skills,the comparison of breaststroke techniques between the experimental group and the control group,the comparison of breaststroke 200 meter technical performance,and the analysis of data from the experimental group and the control group,the statistical analysis and statistical method of analyzing and measuring data are used,The application effect of PBL teaching method in college swimming teaching was analyzed by multiple factors.Results and conclusions:1.Implementing the PBL teaching method in swimming teaching for physical education majors in ordinary colleges and universities can help improve students’ enthusiasm for actively participating in swimming training and enhance their enthusiasm for learning swimming.This is related to creating swimming scenarios in the PBL teaching method to improve students’ integration.2.Comparing the students using the conventional teaching method and the PBL teaching method with the conventional teaching method in the swimming teaching of physical education majors in ordinary colleges and universities,it was found t hat in terms of various indicators of physical fitness and body shape testing,there was no significant difference in the scores between the experimental group and t he control group,and both groups of teaching methods could improve students’ physical fitness and body shape.3.There are significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in indicators of cooperation awareness and communication ability.The reason is that in the past,the teaching method of swimming courses was still dominated by teachers,with students learning passively and not actively communicating with classmates when problems arise.PBL teaching method can enable students to communicate with team members and solve problems cooperatively throughout the process of solving problems.The use of PBL teaching method is of great significance to the improvement of students’ cooperative awareness and communication ability.4.The PBL teaching method mainly focuses on creating situations,creating learning scenarios for students,and designing teaching content and questions in scenarios based on learning swimming,analyzing swimming movements,and similar problem situations.This allows students to immerse themselves in research action scenarios,think and analyze,rather than blindly imitate actions.This makes the PBL teaching method more effective in promoting students to discover problems The ability to analyze and solve problems has been improved.5.After teaching experiments,the experimental group’s swimming skills and swimming performance are superior to the control group.Applying PBL teaching methods to swimming courses helps students understand and master sports skills. |
