In 2015,President Xi Jinping personally presided over the review of the "Overall Plan for the Reform and Development of Chinese Football",emphasizing that the reform of football sports should be used as a breakthrough point to comprehensively deepen the reform of sports work.With the promulgation of the "Outline for Building a Sports Powerful Country",the development of football has increasingly become a topic of concern to the people of the country.In recent years,artificial intelligence and big data technology have been continuously applied in the field of sports research,providing strong scientific support for the data research of sports.This research is to use artificial intelligence algorithm to analyze and study the competitive ability of football players.The research methods used include literature data method,statistical analysis method,interview method,logical analysis method and so on.The main research is on the public football player data set,and the data analysis mainly adopts the CCA algorithm,and the correlation analysis is carried out for the competitive ability of football players in different positions,so as to obtain the correlation between the competitive ability of football players,which is helpful for the scientific selection of football players and targeted training.The main conclusions of the article are as follows:1.By screening out the key competitive abilities of football players in different positions,it provides a scientific basis for the scientific selection of football players.In this study,football players’ competitive ability is divided into two categories: "basic competitive ability" and "composite competitive ability",and based on this,the competitive ability in the data set is classified.Using statistical methods,data preprocessing is carried out on the composite competitive ability,and the key competitive abilities of football players in different positions are screened out.2.Through the CCA algorithm,the correlation analysis of the key competitive ability and basic competitive ability of football players in different positions is helpful to the specificization of football player training programs.Through the analysis of the correlation coefficient of canonical variables and canonical variables,the correlation between the key competitive ability and the basic competitive ability of the classified forward,midfield,fullback and goalkeeper position football players should be found,and the exploration will be carried out.The correlation model of the competitive ability of excellent football players is constructed,which is helpful to guide the selection of football players and the pertinence of training.3.The design logic of the data statistics algorithm used in this study is also suitable for other sports,and has the generalization ability to be transferred to other sports.Through the correlation analysis of the competitive ability data of football players in different positions through the CCA algorithm,guiding suggestions for sports material selection and targeted training can be obtained.In other projects,this method can also be used to provide guidance and suggestions for scientific selection and targeted training.
