Reading the whole book can effectively improve the comprehensive quality of students.It is an effective way to implement the core quality of Chinese,cultivate students’ good reading habits,help students master reading methods,enrich students’ reading experience,and promote the school to build a good reading atmosphere.Guided reading of the whole book is a teaching activity designed by teachers to help students read the whole book better when students have not started or just started to read the whole book.As a key period in the development of children’s language reading ability,teachers’ effective guidance can help students better read the whole book,and thus improve students’ reading ability,so as to achieve the purpose of introduction in class and self-reading after class.However,there is a lack of research on the current situation of guided reading teaching for senior Chinese teachers in primary schools.Therefore,this study focuses on this problem,aiming at helping teachers establish correct teaching concept of guided reading and improving teaching skills of guided reading,so as to make guided reading teaching truly play a role in educating people.In this study,128 Chinese teachers from six primary schools in X City were selected as the research objects,and questionnaire survey and interview methods were used to explore the current situation of guided reading teaching of the whole book in the senior section of primary schools.First of all,through literature research,we determine the teachers’ professional quality as the theoretical basis of "Theory and Practice of Teacher Professionalization",which was organized by the former Normal Education Department of the Ministry of Education.On the basis of actual research,a questionnaire is designed,which includes teachers’ professional knowledge cognition,teachers’ professional affection and teachers’ professional skills,to investigate the current situation of guided reading teaching of the whole book in the senior section of primary school.Secondly,based on the interviews with teachers and students,this paper further analyzes the problems and causes in the teaching of guided reading of the whole book in the senior section of primary schools.Finally,aiming at the problems existing in the teaching situation,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy of reading guide teaching for senior Chinese teachers in primary schools.It is found that there are problems in the reading guide teaching of the whole book for senior Chinese teachers in primary schools.In terms of professional knowledge,teachers lack of understanding of guided reading teaching of the whole book and have not formed a systematic understanding.In terms of professional affection,some teachers have little reading input and teaching research.In terms of professional skills,there are some problems such as lack of teaching atmosphere in guided reading class,insufficient stimulation of students’ interest,unclear teaching objectives,single selection of teaching content,poor teaching methods and undiversified teaching evaluation.The reason is that teachers lack the whole book reading guide teaching system training;Teacher professional development consciousness is weak;Teachers lack of integration in reading guide teaching of the whole book.In view of the above problems and reasons,the optimization strategy proposed in this study is as follows: in terms of professional knowledge,teachers should deeply understand the guided teaching concept and enrich the theoretical knowledge of guided teaching;In the aspect of professional affection,teachers should actively read to improve reading quality and establish correct role cognition.In terms of professional skills,guided reading teaching should be fully implemented,students’ interest in reading should be stimulated,guided reading teaching objectives should be formulated scientifically,bibliography should be reasonably selected,reading methods should be imparts and evaluation methods should be innovated.
