In recent years, the problem of single parent family is highlighted. Many single-parent families, affected by the pressure of livelihood and the accelerated pace of life, often entrust their grandparents to take care of their children in order to solve the child rearing dilemma. However, the children of single parent families lack the love of their father(mother),which will extend to some problems. For example, the child’s character will become more solitary, more indifferent to emotions, but also give them a sense of psychological inferiority, resulting in social and learning disabilities. These issues have become the focus of the academic community in recent years. However, from the previous studies, the academic community mainly focuses on the study of single-parent families or intergenerational education, while the research on the combination of single-parent families and intergenerational education is not deep enough and needs to be further explored. In this paper, the teenagers in single-parent families are studied, and the literature method, observation method,semi-structured interview method and other research methods are adopted. The ecological system theory and social support theory are used.In the background of single parent family,in the process of generational education, children’s emotional, psychological, learning, behavior and other aspects of the adverse impact of in-depth research. This study first introduces the general situation of M community where H teenagers live and the current situation of single parent family separation, and analyzes and studies the problems existing in the generation separation education of single parent family in M community and their causes. Then, taking H teenager as an example, based on the perspective of case work intervention and on the basis of existing relevant research results, this paper studies the problem of generation separation education for single parent families. The problems existing in case H are analyzed from micro, meso and macro levels by using ecosystem theory. In the process of intervention, social workers use the theory of social support to carry out five stages of intervention for 10 times,to assist the client to improve the surrounding living environment and personal problems,so as to fully meet his needs. In view of this, this study summarized, analyzed and suggested the case work involved in the generation separation education of single parent families. The professional method of case work has achieved remarkable results in solving many problems of children. The problems have been basically solved and the theory has been well analyzed and applied. However, there are still deficiencies in the research. We believe that the improvement can accumulate experience for the follow-up activities and make social work achieve greater results in the intervention process. At the same time,in view of the problems belonging to the single parent family intergenerational education group, suggestions are provided from the perspectives of family, school and society in order to solve these problems. |
