In the process of human life and learning,listening happens all the time.Listening is the most primitive way of human learning.However,in the current primary school classroom,the classroom attention of teachers and students is gradually occupied by a variety of teaching activities such as speaking,reading and writing,and the importance of listening is gradually ignored."Listening" is the basis of "speaking,reading and writing" activities,but the lack of students’ listening ability has become a common problem in Chinese classroom.Effective listening activities in the Chinese classroom include not only memorizing auditory information,but also strengthening the text understanding ability,so as to help students further into the inner space of readers,speakers and text authors,so as to enable students to obtain more profound emotional understanding.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to explore the deficiencies in the development of primary school students’ listening ability in various aspects such as reception,understanding and expression,and based on the Chinese classroom,put forward corresponding teaching and activity strategies to improve students’ listening ability.In terms of the cultivation of listening and understanding ability,the author creatively cites the concept of auditory space to explain the function and mechanism of internal listening,and summarizes the Chinese teaching art that is conducive to improving students’ listening ability in class through the analysis of the famous teachers’ class and the normal class.This study mainly adopts the methods of questionnaire survey,interview,classroom observation,literature research and case analysis.Firstly,the concept of listening,listening ability and auditory space is defined by literature research method,and listening ability is divided into four dimensions.Secondly,through questionnaire survey,classroom observation and interview and other ways to sort out and analyze the investigation results of the status quo of primary school students’ classroom listening ability.Among them,the questionnaire survey is mainly used to analyze the results of students’ listening attention,understanding and feedback ability,and the records of classroom observation and interview are used as a supplement to the questionnaire to analyze the current situation of students’ listening preparation,listening comprehension and listening feedback ability.Thirdly,based on the survey results,this paper summarizes five listening problems that are easy to occur in Chinese classroom environment for primary school students,and analyzes the causes of students’ listening problems from the subjective and objective perspectives by combining classroom observation and interviews with teachers and students.Based on the four dimensions of preparation,attention,understanding and feedback of listening ability,this paper puts forward the corresponding strategies to cultivate students’ listening ability:(1)refine the objectives of listening training;(2)Seize the "Chinese flavor",stimulate students’ interest in listening;(3)Combine listening with "speaking,reading and writing" in teaching with the concept of auditory space;(4)Establish a diversified evaluation system.
