Curriculum is the core element of talent cultivation in colleges and universities,and curriculum setting plays an important role in the cultivation of talents in colleges and universities as an important way to achieve the cultivation goal.2017,the curtain of teacher training professional certification was launched in China,which laid a solid foundation for the development of high-quality teachers in the new era.In the context of teacher training professional certification,we analyze the teacher training certification and related national documents and college curriculum,analyze the problems of curriculum setting of physical education majors in Jiangxi province colleges and universities,and propose corresponding optimization strategies to provide reference for promoting the development of physical education professional certification in Jiangxi province colleges and universities,and also lay the theoretical foundation for improving the curriculum setting of physical education majors in Jiangxi province colleges and universities.This paper takes the curriculum setting of physical education majors in sixteen public colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province as the research object,and uses literature method,comparative analysis method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method and other research methods to analyze the curriculum setting of physical education majors in Jiangxi Province colleges and universities,and draws the following conclusions:(1)In the context of teacher training professional certification,the training objectives of physical education majors in 16 universities in Jiangxi Province tend to be physical education teachers or professionals related to their majors;In terms of graduation requirements,most colleges and universities are consistent with the Accreditation Standards.(2)In terms of the proportion of course structure,theoretical courses are higher than practical courses,compulsory courses are higher than elective courses,and the credits of elective courses are less;In terms of course content,the general education curriculum includes 6 categories,and the subject professional curriculum is different from the "National Standards",and the courses of practical education are not complete.(3)The cognition of students majoring in physical education in colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province is at the middle level of teachers professional certification.There are some problems in the process of education practice,such as the ineffective connection between theory and practice teaching and the lack of teaching practical ability.(4)First-line physical education teachers are generally satisfied with the quality of graduates,and practical courses offered by colleges and universities cannot meet the needs of first-line teaching.The proportion of practical courses should be higher than that of theoretical courses.(5)Based on "Certification Standards",the paper analyzed that the curriculum of 16 colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province had unclear training goals and poor compatibility with the needs of basic education;Graduation requirements,school characteristics are not outstanding enough;Unbalance of course structure and weak elective courses;The content of the course is too "classic" and does not highlight the problems of "normal".In view of the problems existing in the curriculum setting of physical education major in colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province,combining with the Certification Standards,the following optimization strategies are put forward:(1)Implement "Certification Standards" and return to the original intention of professional construction.(2)Refining graduation requirements,highlighting the characteristics of colleges and universities.(3)Adjust the curriculum structure and improve the curriculum.(4)Output-oriented,integrated into ideological and political education.
