In 2009,the Ministry of Education issued a notice on "Regulations on the Work of Class Teachers in Primary and Secondary Schools",which clearly pointed out that the work of class teachers in primary and secondary schools should be further strengthened and their important role in primary and secondary education should be brought into play.As the saying goes: "attitude is everything",learning attitude will affect students’ learning quality and learning behavior.At the same time,primary school is a key period to cultivate students’ understanding and attitude towards things.As an important person responsible for student training and management,head teachers have the most direct and comprehensive influence on students’ learning attitude.However,at present,there are few researches on how the management style of head teachers affects the learning attitude of primary school students,which needs further exploration.Based on management style theory,organizational climate theory and learning attitude theory,this study constructs a model of the relationship between the management style of class teachers and the learning attitude of pupils.Firstly,the model analyzes the direct influence of the management style of class teachers on pupils’ learning attitudes.Secondly,it analyzes the direct influence of the management style of head teacher on class atmosphere and the direct influence of class atmosphere on pupils’ learning attitude.Finally,the mediating effect of class atmosphere on the management style of head teachers and pupils’ learning attitude is analyzed.By referring to the management style scale of homeroom teachers,class atmosphere scale and self-assessment scale of primary school students’ learning attitude,this study adopts random sampling to investigate 889 primary school students,and uses SPSS26.0 and AMOS23.0 software to conduct empirical analysis on the data obtained.The management style of head teacher,class atmosphere and pupils’ learning attitude are investigated as well as the practicability of the model hypothesis.The following conclusions are reached:(1)On the whole,the current management style adopted by the head teachers in primary schools is mainly democratic.The pupils have a good perception of the class atmosphere,and the current pupils’ learning attitude is at the medium level.There is no significant difference between the gender of head teachers in management style;The subjects taught by the head teacher have significant differences in each dimension of the management style of the head teacher.There is no significant difference in class teacher management style and class atmosphere between students’ genders.There is no significant difference in the management style and learning attitude of head teachers in student grades.There are significant differences in class atmosphere between grades;Student gender,student age,student family economic situation and students who tutor homework have differences in learning attitude;Whether students are the only child or not has no significant difference in their learning attitude as does the analysis result of their parents’ education level.(2)There is an obvious correlation between the management style of head teachers,class atmosphere and pupils’ learning attitude.The democratic management style can significantly positively affect the class atmosphere and pupils’ learning attitude,while the authoritarian management style and the libertarian management style can significantly negatively affect the class atmosphere and pupils’ learning attitude.Good class atmosphere can significantly positively affect pupils’ learning attitude;Class atmosphere plays an intermediary role in the relationship between the management style of head teachers and the learning attitude of pupils.Specifically,class atmosphere plays a partial intermediary effect in the relationship between the democratic management style and the learning attitude of pupils.Class atmosphere plays a completely mediating role in the influence of authoritarian management style on pupils’ learning attitude.Class atmosphere does not play a mediating role in the influence of laissed-style management style on pupils’ learning attitude.Based on the empirical research results,the following strategies are proposed from the perspective of management practice:(1)Class teachers should correctly understand their own management style and strengthen their own construction.(2)The head teacher should attach importance to the creation of class atmosphere and create a good class atmosphere.(3)The school should build a platform to help class teachers grow up and improve their management ability.(4)Teachers should strengthen the guidance of students’ learning behavior and implement learning objectives... |
