Great times require great spirit,and noble undertakings require example guidance.An example is a personalized image that reflects the values of the age and plays an important role in leading a great cause and building a great dream.As fellow practitioners and witnesses of achieving the goals of the "Two Centenary Goals",conducting model education for college students can help stimulate their inner subjectivity,and gather a steady stream of youthful power for creating a new pattern of the era.The unique characteristics of college students in the new era,such as the pursuit of individuality,diversity of value orientations,pragmatic life ideals,and rational subjective consciousness,have led to new problems such as cognitive bias in valuing idols over role models,value bias in valuing oneself over society,and behavioral bias in the process of integrating with traditional model education.In order to continuously exert its effectiveness,university student model education must be guided by the situation,guided by inheritance and innovation,and explore the practical implications,ideal expectations,and optimization strategies.Here are four parts,except the introduction:The first part,questioning the concept,clarifying the practical significance.Starting from the concept of model education,taking the operating mechanism centered on "value identification" as a reference,defining Model Education for College Students in the New Era.Secondly,clarify the theoretical guidelines for it.Finally,model education also has practical significance.It will help to gather the strength of youth for the realization of the Chinese Dream,make the core socialist values concrete,strengthen the affinity of the education,and provide spiritual impetus for the all-round development of college students.In the second part,I will conceive the content of it.Firstly,the model education for college students in the new era should adhere to the general goal of cultivating new people of the era,and gradually achieve the specific goals of consolidating skills,building spirit,value cultivation,and behavior practice.Secondly,the main contents are embodied from the four dimensions of model deeds education,model ability education,model spirit education,and model value orientation education.Finally,grasp the development direction under the principle of the unity of value guidance and self-construction,inheritance and development,and unity and diversity.The third part is to respond to the reality of role model education.It reveals that the strength of model education is more diversified,the level of model education content is enhanced,the form of model education is increasingly rich,and the degree of demand,recognition,and emotional identification of college students is high.However,there are still some model educators who need to strengthen their demonstration,some of the spiritual connotation of model education is more abstract,some model education carries neglects sense of experience,some college students’ model evaluation standards are impacted by idolatry,they have utilitarian motivation,low degree of value recognition,difficulty in behavior transformation,and lack of joint force atmosphere of model education.Looking for the root of the problem from the external environment such as model education itself,bad social trends and network,and college students’ subjective factors.The fourth part is to put forward the optimization countermeasures of the model education.Firstly,we should adhere to the value guidance of socialist core values,around the diverse needs,spiritual needs and subjective model needs of college students,focus on the problem orientation of "what","why" and "how to do" to strengthen the height,breadth,depth and fitness.Secondly,we should optimize the narrative style to achieve a subtle understanding,a blend of emotions and scenes,and a combination of images and text.Once again,we should follow the logical law of "rational cognition,emotional identification,value identification and behavior identification" of college students’ model identification,systematically integrate the curriculum carrier,network carrier,cultural carrier and practice carrier to facilitate the transformation of knowledge into behavior.Finally,we should take notice of important people,the public opinion environment and the system guarantee,so as to play the joint role of collaborative education.
