Scientific regulation and control of marathon pre-competition training plays a crucial role in the formation of athletes’ optimal competitive state,and scientific pre-competition training is one of the decisive factors for marathon runners to achieve good performance.Peng Jianhua is a representative of young marathon runners in China.He ranked 32 nd in the marathon race of the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games in 2:16min and 39 sec,which is the second place among Chinese athletes in the Tokyo Olympic Games.The summary and analysis of his training characteristics before the Tokyo Olympic Games.It is of great value and practical significance to guide the athlete’s future training.This paper comprehensively analyzes Peng Jianhua’s pre-competition training content arrangement,training load changes,training methods and means,summarizes the characteristics of his pre-competition training,analyzes the reasons why the athletes did not reach the goal of participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games,and provides reference for the athlete’s future training improvement.This paper analyzes the training content,training load,training methods and means of Peng Jianhua’s preparation for Tokyo Olympic Games by using the methods of literature,interview and field observation.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The content of Peng Jianhua’s pre-competition training shows the characteristics of phased changes.The first stage is to adjust physical and mental state and develop general endurance.The second stage is mainly to improve the athletes’ speed endurance quality and sprint ability.The third stage to reduce training,adjust the best state of competition.(2)Peng Jianhua’s pre-competition training belongs to the mode of high load and low intensity.In the first stage,recovery training with large load and low load intensity is mainly adopted;in the second stage,special training with large load and high intensity is mainly adopted;in the third stage,the load is appropriately reduced on the basis of high load intensity.(3)Peng Jianhua’s pre-race preparation takes aerobic training as the core.The mixed oxygen exercise ability is trained by continuous training mainly by means of rhythm running and Fartlake running,while the anaerobic endurance is trained by means of interval training and repetition training mainly by means of short sprint running.(4)Peng Jianhua prepared for the Tokyo Olympic Games arrangement is more reasonable.On the one hand,the physiological and biochemical indexes of the athletes are within the normal range.On the other hand,through the results of the athletes’ training in competition and the results of the team stage test,the arrangement of the athletes’ training plan has reached the training objectives and effects.
