With the increasing attention of the country to vocational education,secondary vocational education,as the primary stage of vocational education,has attracted much attention to the survival of secondary vocational students.Therefore,it is particularly necessary to explore the influencing factors of vocational school students’ career adaptability and help them relieve the employment pressure and improve their mental health.Career adaptability refers to the ability of individuals to successfully adapt to various challenges and opportunities in career development through appropriate adjustment and development,which is of great significance for individuals to achieve career and life goals.Attachment refers to the degree of emotional attachment and trust in interpersonal relationships,and usually refers to the emotional connection in intimate relationships with parents,friends,etc.Some studies have shown that the quality of attachment relationship can affect the performance and adaptability of individuals in their career.The higher the quality of attachment,the stronger the adaptability of career.And some studies have shown that the quality of attachment relationship will affect the ability and confidence of individuals in career decision-making.So,in the relationship between attachment and career adaptability,it is worth exploring what role career decision-making efficacy plays.This study is divided into two parts.In the first part,807 secondary vocational students were surveyed with the "Parents and Peer Attachment Questionnaire","Career Decision Self-Efficacy Questionnaire",and "Career Adaptability Questionnaire",to understand the attachment relationship of secondary vocational students,the current situation of career decision self-efficacy and career adaptability,and to analyze the differences of demographic variables among the three.The second study used a pretest and posttest design to conduct group counseling intervention on secondary vocational school students with low career adaptability,and designed a group counseling program of career decision-making self-efficacy to verify whether the intervention of career decision-making self-efficacy has an impact on the improvement of career adaptability.Research results:(1)There was no significant difference in attachment relationship between secondary vocational school students in the place of origin and whether they were only children(p>0.05);In terms of gender,peer attachment of secondary vocational school students has significant difference in different genders(p<0.001),while father attachment and mother attachment have no significant difference in different genders(p>0.05);In terms of grade,there was no significant difference between father and peer attachment in different grades(p>0.05),while there was significant difference between mother attachment in different grades(p<0.05).(2)There were significant differences in career decision-making self-efficacy between different genders(p<0.001);There was no significant difference in vocational school students’ career decision-making self-efficacy on the factors of student origin,only child or not,and grade(p>0.05).(3)There was no significant difference in career adaptability of secondary vocational school students in terms of gender,place of origin,only child or not,and grade(p>0.05).(4)The attachment relationship of secondary vocational school students has significant correlation with career decision-making self-efficacy and career adaptability(p<0.001,p<0.001).(5)Attachment relationship can positively predict career decision-making selfefficacy(p<0.001)and career adaptability(p<0.001);Career decision-making efficacy can predict career adaptability(p<0.001).(6)Career decision-making self-efficacy plays a partial intermediary role in attachment and career adaptability.(7)The improvement of career decision-making self-efficacy influences the improvement of career adaptability of secondary vocational students.Research conclusion:(1)There is a correlation between attachment,career decision-making selfefficacy and career adaptability.(2)Career decision-making self-efficacy plays a partial intermediary role in attachment and career adaptability.(3)The improvement of career decision-making self-efficacy influences the improvement of career adaptability of secondary vocational students.
