| Life value education is an important content of ideological and political education,and also an important lever to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education.The education of life value for college students in the new era is based on the new historical direction of China’s development,with ideological and political theory courses in universities as the main channel.Through education on life cognition,life emotions,life beliefs,and life responsibilities,it helps college students correctly understand life,respect life,love life,actively create the value of life,and achieve a meaningful life.The new era calls for new generations to take on the responsibility of national rejuvenation.As the most vibrant and dynamic group in society,college students’ quality of life and state of life are closely linked to the fate of the country and the future of the nation.But in real life,college students exhibit a tendency towards emptiness and value loss to a certain extent and extent.Therefore,it is necessary to actively carry out life value education for college students in the new era,guide them to establish correct life values,promote their free and comprehensive development,and enable them to actively integrate their personal ideals into social development,realizing their life value in serving the people and contributing to society.Taking the Marxist idea of life value,the idea of life value in Chinese traditional culture and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on life value as the theoretical basis,this paper further understands the life value of college students in the new era and the status of life value education of college students through questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews.According to the survey results,the overall life values of college students in the new era are good,and life value education has also achieved certain results,but there are still shortcomings.This mainly includes the need for improvement in college students’ life cognition,the need to nourish their life emotions,the need to enhance their life beliefs,and the need to improve their awareness of life responsibility.However,the problems in life value education are manifested in the lack of richness in educational content,neglecting the unity of material and spiritual values,as well as social values;Educational methods place more emphasis on theoretical teaching and neglect practical teaching;The education path is mainly focused on the classroom,neglecting the role of schools,families,and society in nurturing people.The main reasons for this are the lack of systematicity in the education system of universities,misconceptions in families’ understanding of life value education,and the negative impact of the social and online environment.Propose countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen the life value education of college students in the new era in response to these issues.Firstly,enrich the content of life value education for college students in the new era,integrate happiness education into the existing foundation,and improve life cognition;Through setback education,enhance life beliefs;Strengthen emotional education and cultivate a positive attitude.Secondly,enrich the methods of life value education for college students in the new era,create situational teaching,and call for life consciousness;Using dialogue and communication skillfully to enhance life emotions;Strengthen practical teaching and enhance life experience.Finally,broaden the path of life value education for college students in the new era,strengthen school education,and consolidate the main battlefield;Emphasize family education and fasten the first button;Enhance social guidance and purify the overall environment.Through multi-party cooperation,the education of the value of life for college students will be implemented as a systematic project in all aspects of social life. |
