Experiential teaching refers to a teaching form that is based on students’ cognitive characteristics and laws,based on creating real or repeatable situations and opportunities,presents or reappears and restores the teaching content,and emphasizes the personal experience and exploration of students,so that students can gain knowledge and experience from experience.It plays a positive role in improving students’ creativity and practical ability,and obtains the feeling of beauty from their own personal experience.The teaching of Chinese landscape painting in the art classroom of junior high school should be based on nature and pay attention to the true mountains and waters represented by landscape painting.The experiential teaching of Chinese landscape painting in the art classroom of junior high school allows students to truly integrate into the classroom,guide students to discover and solve problems,stimulate their subjectivity,experience personally,mobilize students’ initiative,and promote their development,thereby changing the traditional teaching mode of Chinese landscape painting.It explores the guided situational art experience method,the role playing method of experiencing the background,the autonomous exploration method of experiencing nature and humanity,and the cooperative discussion method of experiencing artistic conception.Through the situational art experience method of drawing guide maps,the role-playing method of experiencing the "four arts" of the Song Dynasty,the active exploration method of experiencing nature and humanity,and the cooperative discussion method of experiencing painting and understanding poetry,the experiential teaching practice of the Chinese landscape painting works "The Painting of a Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" and "The Dwelling of Fuchun Mountain" is implemented.After the experiential teaching method,junior high school students’ overall recognition of the Chinese landscape painting "Thousand Li River and Mountain Painting" increased from24% to 93%;The recognition of the mounting method of the "scroll" in "The Painting of a Thousand Li River and Mountains" has increased from 47% to 90%;The recognition of the correct viewing method of "watching while rolling" has increased from 40% to 83%;The recognition of the initial seal increased from 5% to 14%;The awareness of the aesthetic concept of "abundance,enjoyment,and prosperity" has increased from 42% to 59%;The recognition of the "silk based coloring" material has increased from 5% to 73%;The recognition of the "four arts" of literati’s elegant life-flower arrangement,painting,incense,and tea ordering-increased from 16% to 55%;The recognition of the cyan mineral pigments used in the screen has increased from 13% to 34%;The ability to fully paint a certain section of the "Thousand Li River and Mountain Painting" has increased from 16% to 24%;The ability to fully describe the use of words and pictures in modern life has increased from 19%to 24%.After the experiential teaching method,junior high school students’ overall recognition of the "Fuchun Mountain Dwelling Map" increased from 18% to 100%;The recognition of the mounting method of "hand scrolls" in "The Painting of Dwelling in Fuchun Mountain" has increased from 58% to 93%;The correct viewing method for "watching while rolling" has increased from 69% to 97%;"The recognition of the main techniques used in" The Painting of Dwelling in Fuchun Mountain ",namely," Pima Cunning Method ",has increased from 3% to63%;";The awareness of the aesthetic concept of "depression and indifference" has increased from 62% to 67%;The recognition of "poetry,calligraphy,painting,and printing" has increased from 0% to 40%;The ability to completely paint a certain section of the painting "The Painting of Dwelling in Fuchun Mountain" has increased from 0% to 3%;The ability to fully describe the use of "The Painting of Dwelling in Fuchun Mountain" in modern life by combining words and pictures has increased from 0% to 17%.Overall,the experiential teaching practice of landscape painting in the art classroom of junior high school has created fun filled teaching activities,strengthened students’ experience,guided students to explore independently,significantly improved students’ active participation,fully utilized students’ initiative in the classroom,and better improved junior high school students’ understanding of Chinese landscape painting.
