Language teaching materials are the medium of knowledge transfer,an important vehicle for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning,and play a very important role in teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.In 2019,the unified textbook is officially put into use,following the guiding ideology of "building moral education" and meeting the needs of language education,which is of great academic value.The reading aid system is an important part of language teaching materials,which provides students with various learning methods and improves their independent reading ability.The unified high school ancient poetry reading aid system includes four parts:unit introduction,class notes,study hints and illustrations,which have unique features and have received wide attention from teachers and students.This paper takes the unified textbook’s ancient poetry reading aid system as the research object,using survey method and interview method to understand the current situation of using it,and proposes teaching strategies for teachers.The paper is divided into four main parts:The first part is a basic overview of the ancient poetry reading system.We define the concept of ancient poetry and the reading aid system,and compare the ancient poetry reading aid system of the unified textbook and the textbook of the Human Education version,and conclude that the ancient poetry reading aid system of the unified textbook has the characteristics of wholeness,coordination and comprehensiveness.The second part investigates the current situation of using the ancient poetry reading system.In this part,we take Xi County First High School as an example to understand the use of the reading system by teachers and students,and find that teachers ignore the guidance status and the patterned teaching style in the process of using the reading system;students do not form the concept of active inquiry in learning to use the reading system and cannot master the method of using the reading system.The third part is the suggestion of using the reading aid system for ancient poems in the unified textbook.On the basis of analyzing the current situation of using the ancient poetry reading aid system in the unified textbook,we propose targeted strategies for teachers and students to use it,which involve the use of unit introduction,learning tips,annotations and illustrations,in an attempt to provide feasible suggestions for language teaching.In the fourth part,the author takes the lesson of "Ascent to the Heights" as an example to verify the feasibility of the strategy and reflect on the teaching practice,trying to optimize the use of the ancient poetry reading aid system in the unified textbook.To sum up,the study of the ancient poetry reading aid system can provide some teaching strategies for front-line teachers and optimize the use of the reading aid system.
